We arrived here on a Sunday morning soon after opening hours, so it was not too crowded yet but got more crowded in the afternoon. We spent two hours here perusing the gorgeous well manicured grounds as well as the elegant architecture and exquisite artifacts from Rome and Greece.

We were staying in Santa Monica and decided to drive out of our way on the journey back to LA to visit this beach. It was a cloudy Friday morning but the beach was still beautiful. We visited several beaches on our trip and this was the favorite of both my teen boys. The rock formations and caves were fun to explore. There was a state park ranger in the parking lot who was friendly. We paid about $3 to park for a couple of hours. The hike down to the beach offered fantastic views. It is a bit of a hike and a couple of steep stair cases to get down to the beach but it's worth it.

We found parking at the top at the beginning of the road. I recommend a visit if you want to see the Pacific Ocean and take an easy hike.

My friend and I visited this beach today and we had a lot of fun. Compared inland, it was just about 72 degrees. Perfect. There are not a lot of things around other than a perfect clear and spacious beach. Lots of sand and beautiful views. Some of the other beaches near here are way more crowded, so this was great.

Great to visit such a famous location, just a short distance from LA.

Its a pier so as much as it was nice, it wasn't particularly special or different to most other piers. There are a few places to eat and a shop. The views are nice.

My family visited California 10 years ago but couldn't do the tour. They're back visiting now and managed it this weekend and it was worth the wait. The house was absolutely beautiful inside. Like stepping back in time to Golden Age California. The docent who led our tour was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the house and its history. The tour took about an hour and we enjoyed the time with her, she was great. We spoke to all the other docents at various points and everyone there was lovely. It's been the highlight of the trip so far.

My friend and I walked around the campus when we visited Malibu. Beautiful! The campus is not as close to the beach as I thought, so there's no great access point from the school, but the views are great. This is a must-see, especially if you grew up watching Zoey 101. I don't know how anyone can focus on schoolwork here!

Great beach to bring the kids, especially if you go early. Late afternoon it is packed. Good sized waves for body surfing and lots of sand crabs to catch.

We stopped by here on a Wednesday afternoon. We were able to find a parking spot by the lagoon.

We did a short walk around the area watching a variety of seabirds around the area. A lot of the bushes has flowers where we watch honey bees buzzing about.

    It was a nice visit.

This was by far my favorite beach of the trip. The actual entrance to the park is closed due to flooding and mud on the road, however there is plenty of parking on either side of PCH. I parked right near an authorized vehicle access point and headed on in on foot. The term Beach is loose, since it is mainly a cliff with a walkway along it. There are lifeguard towers and some small beaches in little coves that can be reached by going down sets of wooden stairs. The water was high during my visit, so I didn’t venture down the stairs, but I did get some excellent pictures of pelicans and other seabirds that were roosting on rocks set away from the cliffs. Because of all the rain, some of the cliff side walkway has been washed away, so be careful.

Great hike with lots to see including a big pile of bones of hikers over 60 years old who tried but didn’t make it, which is totally understandable given the length and difficulty of this treacherous journey.

We spent some time here recently with family. A beautiful location and the beach was just mesmerising. The jetty, what is there, is also enchanting especially when the bigger surf rolls in
