Soren Andersen Seattle Times Despite its flaws, “Flight/Risk” is a comprehensive and stinging critique of a once-proud company that has lost its way and is struggling to make a comeback. And it’s a tribute to the people who died and the families who mourn them. Rated: 3.5/4 Sep 12, 2022 Full Review M.N. Miller Ready Steady Cut We did not expect Flight/Risk to play out as a suspenseful political thriller that smartly presents legal arguments, entanglements, and political views as they are, with archival footage and live recreation of the hearings. Rated: 4/5 Oct 21, 2022 Full Review Charles Mudede The Stranger (Seattle, WA) In short, avoid Flight/Risk and watch instead Downfall, another 737 Max doc. It at least mentions the stock buybacks... Oct 5, 2022 Full Review Jim Schembri jimschembri.com Most moving of all are the stories of personal loss and the dogged pursuit for fair compensation, a fight that raised the obnoxious idea that skin colour and nationality could be factors in pay outs. Rated: 3/5 Sep 30, 2022 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue There’s not much new insight for those familiar with the story, especially in a broader context, but it’s carefully researched and assembled. Sep 16, 2022 Full Review John Serba Decider The film is about the erosion of public trust in institutions of and within capitalism. Sep 10, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Briannon O I am a documentary junkie, on every topic from Antarctica yo UFO's and this is quite possibly the most powerful one I've ever watched. I've never reviewed a doc, show, or movie in my life but, that's what an impact Flight Risk made on me. Since watching it, I took a deep dive into the 737 max, reading everything I can find. Fascinating, compelling, heartbreaking, frustrating, striking. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/10/23 Full Review Steve G It was shallow, predictable, and poorly acted. Don't waste your time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review Jerry L As a retired airline captain having flown 7 different models of Boeing airliners, this movie is more than the story of everyday people in the midst of two tragic plane crashes. It is the story of how Boeing's senior managers and the Federal Aviation Administration collaborated to build, certify as airworthy, and sell the Boeing 737 Max airliner with a hidden design flaw. It's the story of the brave people who uncovered and exposed the culpability between Boeing and the Federal Aviation Agency that led to the deaths of several hundred people in two tragic Boeing 737 Max airline crashes. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/07/22 Full Review Tanya z Loved this doc!! (Liked Downfall also) Followed these crashes in the news and it was great to see such a comprehensive presentation!! It's comforting to know that admist "the sickness of capitalism" people like Edward Pierson and Dominic Gates exist. Thank you both🙏 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/05/22 Full Review janice r It is beyond believe that this actually happened. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review ron h Predatory Capitalism. Crony Capitalism. Everything that's bad about Capitalism. Boeing suffers from it all. This doc nails the problems associated with the 737Max disasters and Boeing's horrifying response. The fuse for these disasters was lit on August 1, 1997, when Boeing merged with McDonnell Douglas. On that day Boeing stopped being one of the best engineering companies ever, and started on the path to being a money hungry, take no prisoners Wall Street juggernaut. This doc tells that story and more. Highly recommend! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
