迦南的地理位置

迦南（天主教譯為客納罕）（英語：Canaan，希伯來語：כְּנַעַן‎，腓尼基语：𐤊𐤍𐤏𐤍‬，希臘語：Χαναάν，阿拉伯语：کنعان‎）原意为“低”，指地中海東岸的沿海低地，是一个古代地区名称，大致相当于今日以色列、西岸和加沙，加上临近的黎巴嫩和叙利亚的临海部分。

圣经

圣经记载含的幼子迦南因含的行为而遭到诺亚诅咒之事。圣经称迦南的长子名为西顿，其他的后代还有赫、耶布斯、亚摩利、革迦撒、希未、亚基、西尼、亚瓦底、洗玛利、哈马等，这实际上是古代以色列人对迦南地区各宗族和邦国的概述。

圣经描述迦南的境界是从西顿向基拉耳的路上，直到迦萨，又向所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁的路上，直到拉沙。
