Yeah, My private prize leagues were ruined as a result of the way you handled it as I remember. Completely unfair to the players to have an entire 6 months of work destroyed that way. But, the NFL is mostly to blame obviously. They were forced to capitulate to a soft society.

No one loved the way the 2022 season ended.
For the myriad leagues that ended having the undeserved champion (e.g. barely up with opponent having many players to go), I propose adding a simple asterisk to all the places Yahoo displays historical records of champions with the explanation being something along the lines of "MNF cancelled week 18."
While this may seem petty, there are plenty of continuous leagues out there where each and every data point in the app are talking points and historical records are important. Adding the asterisk here would be an objectively fair solution to the otherwise never-ending debate of "what ifs" that are certain to come as a result of the week 18 cancellation

Me as well Mr. McDaniel. I am dumping this place like a bad habit. I am sure this place will go on but I hope the difference in lost revenue next years leads to these good idea fairies losing their jobs. And it is deserved. I would bet 90 percent of leagues had their finals in week 17. That means 90 percent of all their customers had their finals impacted by their stupid decision by yahoo fantasy management. How do you even fathom such ****. They deserve to lose their jobs over this.

Seriously. Yahoo takes a very large chunk of our prize league fees and now offers nothing in the way of administration to rectify scoring issues or solutions to a week 17 players other than giving a zero.
Last year using Yahoo..

Commissioners couldn't even do anything. They blocked us from handling it ourselves.

Yup...and if you weren't here sooner the admin here consolidated all the negative posts over this into one big post and then buried it so no potential new suckers wont notice what a bad service this place is. It is a pathetic response from a pathetic service.

Yahoo failed all of its users and does not care. They could have done something but did nothing. They should have used week 18 points for players that missed week 17.

I also lost my pool because of yahoo. We all found out that yahoo does not care at all.

That is so BOGUS! I lost my championship game because my Buffalo and my Cincinnati players stats got nullified. That is just not right,.
Put the next weeks stats, or at least use what stats were made in that week's game for our -championship- game. Uncool.

Since the season typically ends on week 17,please allow managers to individually select their rosters for week 18. The rosters can include any players and different managers can select the same player for their roster.

I don't know what I find more infuriating...your complete disregard for all your week 17 finals or the fact that you thought you could make some amends by calling us your friends in your latest message to us. With friends like you, who needs enemies? Let's get some straight right now...no corrections you make for NEXT year will make up for your gross incompetence this year. Changes next year wont make up for the fact that your lack of forethought this year. Making sure other managers wont get screwed in the future wont make those of us feel any better about you screwing us in the present. I look forward to yahoo fantasy being in my past. I will rejoice when it comes out that yahoo didn't make as much money next year and subsequent years as you did this.

That makes too much sense for them to do it.

yeah, it sucks. Fantasy football is supposed to be fun and how they handled the end of the season was anything but fun. We take time out of our lives to play and their response at the end, when it mattered the most, we don't care. I would bet 90 percent of all leagues finish on week 17. How do you snub your nose at 90 percent of your customers. I plan on ditching yahoo because of this. I hope this place loses a lot of money next year.

Looking for some input here. We need to discuss the elephant in the room. Yahoo's handling of the missed week 17 game with the oh well, so sorry, you lose, season over has left me for the first time hating fantasy football. And hate is not a word I throw around lightly. Now before so of you rush to Mr. Hamlin. EVERYBODY is delighted beyond words that he is going to be okay. Nobody is saying they should have played that game. But that does not let yahoo off the hook. Their ho hum response deal with it does not sit well with me. Fantasy football is supposed to be fun and to invest 6 months of my time on their product and yahoo's response to that ****** all over that. I am a Commissioner of 5 leagues and I have been doing yahoo for over 10 years. So my input is I am shopping for a better alternative. So unless yahoo fixes its setting and allows for managers avenues to fix situations like this t is time to move on from yahoo. So what other fantasy football providers would you recommend?

Lazy decision based on zero thought of fair play---which matters in sports. Boo yahoo fantasy sports!

It’s not fair. Yahoo didn’t even try. They don’t care. Probably cost me 350. I was down by 15 points in a ppr league and still had diggs and chase to play.
