Bernice’s 4-star review: Came here to meet up with a Yelp Buddy. We had a pleasant lunch and the ambiance of the place was cute. They have outdoor dining and Happy Hour everyday. Not sure about the weekends. Like most restaurants now you have to scan a QR code to see the menu. They are known for their tapas, and boy they did not disappoint. I enjoyed my light appetizers and drinks. My shrimp was so good I had to bring another order of it home. The customer service was phenomenal. My waiter/ bartender made me my own special drink that was refreshing and delicious. I had a great time meeting up with a fellow Yelp Buddy in my neighborhood and knowing that she had a great experience as well I'm happy to have such a nice spot with great ambiance to bring friends or colleagues too. I definitely will need to revisit with some girlfriends. I'm sure they will enjoy it. Thumbs up for me. Happy Yelping ! -
Bernice’s 4-star review: I love this place. If you are a tea drinker, this place is a must visit. I came for my favorite Green tea lychee. I see that they added some new items to their menu. Cookies, Rice balls etc. Just make a visit. You won't regret it. They have a small area to dine upstairs and downstairs and some chairs for the outdoors in front of the store.- Happy Yelping -
Bernice’s 5-star review: I loved everything here. My food was delicious. My kids were happy with their own. My picky child even enjoyed here chicken and some cooked broccoli, and we ordered some soup dumplings she enjoyed as well. Their chicken was the japanese style chicken and the broccoli had some sweet sauce on it but was so crunchy and crispy that my daughter ordered another bowl of them. My soup was banging. The broth was just everything. The cook was super cool about making me another bowl too, because I didn't know it had mushrooms and most mushrooms I have an allergy to. So when I saw it in my soup he was really nice about just making me a fresh bowl. Their customer service was so excellent here. I can't wait to do more visits as it gets colder. The prices were affordable and reasonable. My girls and I had a really good dining experience. We weren't rushed and we were so full afterwards we could not order any of the Matcha ice cream they sold. I did get a souvenir on my way out but it was something that I had asked for. The guy was really nice about giving me this cup they had for decorating. He warned me not to eat out of it because it's not strong enough for food. I tell ya what, you want a good bowl of Ramen please go visit and support this great place today A+ Approved -
Bernice’s 5-star review: This was a nice lil treat for the my hubby and our two lil ones. My oldest missed out because she was with her dad somewhere, I'm sure having fun, but if you have a teen, like myself they would definitely wanna eat here. She likes to eat, and boy this is her of place. Then again, most food places are her kind of place, lol. Anyway, so my hubby and I decided to bring the kids here for brunch after I purchased the deal off groupon. We made reservations for a Sunday afternoon, around 2p.m. and the place was busy, but they had a lil area to sit out in front, but those seats were taking. Parking in the area was a breeze to find too. So my husband was a lil weary at first, because they had music playing, people drinking and he was like, this ain't kid friendly, but there were other kids there. So we I got our table, the waiter was very pleasant. I forgot to say a hostess greeted us and they we got our table, she was great too. We order our food the menu was a lil confusing but the waiter helped us to make our choices, sorry I can't pronounce what we eat but from the pictures I left, you can get an ideal. Plus everything I ate was delicious. The kids love what they ate, my husband loved what he ate. We left very happy. Oh did I forget to mention the unlimited amount of Sangria I had, it just came around, no need to ask. I would say I would love to come back and try dinner, just with the hubby this time, cause he suggested we not bring the kids again. Overall, for brunch this place wins my vote, but once again its up to you to decide if you want to bring small children, I had no problem, but others may feel different from the whole party vibe this place has.

Bernice’s 4-star review: Really nice cafe/restaurant so far. Customer service was pleasant, and my hot chocolate along with my baklava was excellent. I picked me up some other chocolates to take along with me. The kids were happy with my choice of items. I on the other hand felt that my chocolate almond bar could have had whole almonds rather than lil chip pieces. I do look forward to returning to this place for the eat in restaurant side although you can dine in either side but one side is more for having lunch, brunch, dinner etc. So for now I'm giving four stars. -

Bernice’s 4-star review: I have to say I didn't feel comfortable dining at this place. It's super small and it has a couple of tables right outside of its doors but than it also shared some tables outside on the curve with the other businesses on the block. The tables right outside of the reasurant were those annoying shaking chairs and tables that I don't like because they move while your trying to enjoy your meal. Also it's a really tight space so you can barely sit with anyone else you may be with. As for the outside curve tables, to much construction going on in the area its alot of noise and dust in the air, and don't think you will find any parking, it's a double parking mad house over there. I think Ceetay should think about relocating or expanding because I like to dine in when I'm having fresh made sushi. It's already expensive so I want to sit and relax and enjoy my meal I don't really like to order and go unless I'm close to home or bringing home left overs from already dining in. Now to the food. This restaurant had the best rock shrimp tempura I ever had in my life. They could of added a bit more sauce to it because you can tell it was coated with sauce but not top with sauce if ya get my point. I loved it either way though. My wine was extremely to sweet not like the Plum wine I had from another Sushi establishment, that one was so far my favorite. I was served wine in a plastic cup, not what I was expecting from a sushi spot. I also ordered some grill scallops and a Kawasaki Roll. The scallops were beautifully presented, and taste so fresh and amazingly good, but it was hard to really enjoy such fine dining sitting out at a table on the street. That's how I felt. I didn't want to try my specialty roll, so I took that to go and really didn't enjoy it to much when I got home. It was just ok for me. The Rock shrimp tempura like I said was my favorite. I think next time I need to order a whole popcorn bowl of that with extra butter lol! I really mean (sauce). Honestly I would love to come here an purchase more items from off the menu, because the menu had some really tasty sounding options, but its just not worth it when I have other options closer to me that have if not better quality sushi. If I'm in the area again (and I will be because they have other businesses that I will like to check out and some I may want to eat at because they actually have indoor dining.) I will definitely be taking home some of that Rock Shrimp Tempura, other than that I wouldnt travel all the way from the other side of the Bronx for this place. If your fine with the outdoor space that is provided I would say its a Thumbs-up, and you may not be disappointed in the food, even if your doing some take out, but as for me Im gonna have to pass. -

Affordable price smoothiesBernice’s 4-star review: I like to make my smoothies home, but every now and then I wanna go to a place that may have more ingredients than I buy on a daily basics, and just more options. I got on my yelp and looked up some smoothie shops, that were close to my home and close to where I maybe on a daily basics. Found this place and it was closer than I expected. SCORE! Inside was small, but just enough space for you to sit if you like to stay for the pastries and some coffee, or a breakfast sandwich, salad, or your smoothie/juice drink. They had a wide variety of pastries and breads. The customer service was excellent because I wanted my smoothie in my cup that I use for my smoothies and made a mess at the counter trying to pour the smoothie in the cup. The guy was so nice, he helped me clean it up and told me next time I can tell the lady who prepared my drink to just use my cup instead. I said that would be great. So I gave him a tip just for his kindness and patience. So if you live in the Kingsbridge Section of the Bronx, or are visiting this area, then stop buy and pick up a delicious drink, because I sure enjoyed mines. -
Good food with flavorBernice’s 4-star review: This place has some banging cabbage. The mac and cheese was good, and my jerk chicken was ok, because I had better. That being said I was pretty happy with my meal. I was disappointed though cause I originally came here for their ox tails and it was around 1p.m. and they didn't have any ready,:( so I decided to try the jerk chicken. I had a problem with where I sat down to eat at because it was near the door and everytime someone would come in or out the wind would blow. and my food and self would get cold. So I had to sit at a bar stool shelf and not a table anymore because this is not a big place so I guess they use whatever space they have to try and let you eat in. It was a lady their who gave out sample sizes of the kind of many smoothie drinks they make there. Mines was a banana peanut smoothie. It was ok, to each there own. I would buy from here again if I was in the neighborhood, but Im not running back here everytime I want some Jamican food or Caribbean. -
The best tasting, budget friendly chinese spotBernice’s 3-star review: This has to be one of the better Chinese places to eat in my neighborhood. They have a menu where they prepare fresh sushi. They provide a mini buffet they have everyday that is budget friendly. They even have their own lol convenient store where you can buy all types of things, think 99 cents store had a baby with a Chinese store, lol. Anyway food is good and always taste fresh, but the lady behind the counter needs an attuide adjustment. Maybe she's always mad because a lot of local teens from the many schools in the neighborhood like to hang out there. Don't know, but I'll say it's a pretty good spot. -
The best pizza and wings to shareBernice’s 5-star review: Still five stars. My server/bartender Abdiel was great. Food is still great. Still family and friends friendly environment. Always a staple in the neighborhood. Best place that I know to get some brick fire yummy pizza. If you haven't been, please do so if your in the area. Recommendations Any pizza Hot Cherry Pepper Wings Eggplant Stack Meatballs Uptown Spritz and Limoncello Spritz When in season, (my favorite) Fried Calamari Enjoy!!! -
Bernice’s 5-star review: Place is still beautiful, vibes is still right, they have communal style tables, and alot of tables for two, along with some group tables. I say if you just want to make a visit for two, then definitely make a reservation. When I made a visit this time, I missed the happy hour but the drinks are so good here that I didn't care that I had to pay $10.00 for a margarita. It was the best darn one I had, and I had plenty. I also ordered the lobster ravioli and when I tell you how buttery and delicious it was, oh my goodness I get so weak just talking about it. If you follow me or my see my reviews you will see alot of future check-ins from me, either because of their happy hour or because of that lobster ravioli. I didn't really care for the dessert but, at this point Beans and Vines can do no wrong. The service is always great and I always leave here happy. Round of applause to you guys, and the chef. A great gem in the neighborhood. -
Great healthy smoothiesBernice’s 4-star review: What can I say, but how I wish this had more locations. This place is the real deal when it comes to healthy smoothies and drinks. They have so many options, to add in other things they dont charge an arm/leg for. Personally, I like to make my own, but this is a good option for when your out an about, or just want something diffrent from what you make, because sometimes I dont have some of the same products. The customer service was awesome. Thank god for the A.C. they had, with the hot day we had today. I enjoyed my smoothie drink, and if I in the area again, I will likely, stop by, of not this one the one on Castle Hill. Try this place out, your body will thank you -
Good for froyo lovers and kidsBernice’s 5-star review: Love this place. By my pics, you can see my kids loved it too. They have so many toppings, so many flavors and blends. They even have sample cups for you to try the flavor of your choice. I liked that they have frozen sherberts too, because my middle child doesnt care for froyo or ice cream, shes more of an icey girl. So I liked that even the pickeyest can find something too. They had a good amount of seating inside and outside the store. Heres the best thing that I was pleased about I got four froyos for under $25 bucks. I spend way more in basket robbins and get way less toppings. The customer service was awesome, because my kids kept going back to sample other flavors and they told me that it was more common that people do that then I thought. They have people come grab a sample and just leave, I saw that happening with my own eyes. I liked that they also had lil things for the little ones such as free coloring and then putting your paper on the wall with other past customer, they also had a lil chalk board that you can use. This place I will visit again for sure with my lil ones, its better than ice cream, and its a pleasure to get out the house on a hot day with a 7 yr old who broke her wrisk and really is limit in the activites that she can do. She left with a smile, and so did I. -
Great for lunch and dinnerBernice’s 5-star review: I thought I should do an update review since I haven't did a review since 2018. So because it is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, I thought I should express my opinion about one of my favorite restaurants. Sometimes in N.Y. you can visit establishments and get a bad vibe and be treated differently with rude behavior and sadly it can be due to race or ethnicity. I've been to this establishments on many occasions and not once did I feel uncomfortable and I was always treated with great respect and hospitality. The food is amazing. Its delicious. It's always fresh and never did I have anything taste fishy, smelly or old. The ambiance is amazing. It's can be a great place for lunch or dinner. It can be for any occasion. I recommend anything that says tempura. The prices are fair, but I recommend if your on a budget they have a great lunch menu with good pricing. There are alot of Asian cuisine in this area but this one is my favorite and the best!-Happy Yelping! -
Great coffee, Great wine, Great vibesBernice’s 5-star review: Im a lil upset this a.m. because although I still love this place, I was not informed that the bag that my corrisant came in had a slide opening. Normally I would just eat it out the bag, but today I took it out and boom! on the ground it went. I told the girl in the store what happened, she said I should bring it back, I did, and brought another one. Whatever I feel its my fault, but Im just letting people know beware off what wrappings, or how they package your stuff, lesson learned for me. -
Good pizzaBernice’s 4-star review: So I just decided on Saturday evening that I felt like ordering some pizza not the average, something different. So of course I took out my phone and decided to use my trusty yelp app, and I found this spot in my area, and from the pictures I seen, oh yes! This was it. I ordered the Bolognese Sicilian Pie, with added pepperoni for about 20 bucks and oh so delicious. I order my two lil ones a individual slice of thier own, and a canolli. The delivery guy was hot, my pizza was hot, just happy all around. My kids loved their slice too. The Bolognese was something of uniqueness to me. It was a warm meat sauce like you put on spaghetti. I loved it, especially with the added pepperoni. They say they only make it sicilian style, fine by me it was very fulfilling, can't wait to actually make a visit to this place in the future to really get my hands on whatever else may be tasty. I'm hoping that will be a good review as well, so stay tuned for that lol. For now this place wins my vote for good pizza
