Bri’s 4-star review:
I came here to catch up with a couple of friends and to my surprise they were pretty booked on a Wednesday afternoon, although we came the moment they opened we ended up sitting at the bar. This place is dimly lit and gives off an intimate setting. The staff was super attentive with our drinks and food and our waiter was very pleasant. Luckily, I came here with a friend who had an idea on what we should get. Disclaimer: it can get pretty pricey and the tapas don't fill you up even after 6 orders!
Rating: 1 (I could do without) - 5 (heavenly sent)
Now, we got the ceviche (3), oxtail spring rolls (5), plantain (4), 2 x lobster roll (4), scallops (4), chocolate mousse (5) and pop-rock popsicle (3) in that order.
My friend was disappointed in the pop-rock Popsicle mainly because it wasn't assembled like the last time she came so the flavor profile was missing. This was suppose to be the star, but for me the star was the oxtail spring roll. It came through with the juiciness and crunch I expected and desired. Highly recommendeIn regards to the ceviche, I prefer Spanish style ceviche's lime flavor profile over the spiciness I got from theirs. Everything else was delicious and presented beautifully.
For drinks, I recommend the Makgeolli (rice wine) if you like to drink without feeling your "drinking"
