Q:
Where is the truck now? I heard all the food trucks were banned. :( This was my favorite "meat on a stick" cart! Waaaaaah!
A:
Q:
Are they only open on certain days? The last two times I came out to Flushing, I couldn't find the cart. Please advise as I am desperately craving some delicious lamb/lamb kidney skewers!
A:
I was originally told they operate in the evenings, usually found on prince street near Nan Xiang XLB but I've seen them on 39TH and Main Street (next to the eggies mini cakes uncle) too during day hours. There's another vendor that does the meat… more

16 bucks for 8 skewers! Got lamb, chicken gizzards and beef - all my skewers were ready within ten minutes and I was happy to find that there was minimal gristle and mostly meat on each skewer! Would recommend trying this place!

Keepin it real out here in Flushing Queens Crossing
It's hard for a skewer cart that serves fire food to not get a 5 star. Can't vouch anything beyond the food itself cause it's literally a cart itself. The grilling, the spices, such an affordable luxury to have, whether its on a cold winter day or a hot summer night, it hits the spot every time.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 16, 2024
This cart is a staple in the Flushing neighborhood. There's plenty of food carts that do the same thing, but this one is just in the center of it all. I remember always coming here in my youth with my family and enjoying a couple of chicken and lamb skewers. The meat is always cooked very nicely as the guy knows what hes doing, but the price is definitely higher than it used to be back then, nothing we can do about inflation though.

The price isn't as cheap as it used to be... I still remember the good days where it cost only $1 per lamb skewer.
However, this is still the best tasting lamb skewer to date and I wouldn't get my lamb skewers anywhere else!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Nov 24, 2018Previous reviewThis is actually the best lamb skewers I have had my whole life. Other than the price is a bit expensive, this would be a must buy every time I come to flushing.

I FOLLOWED THE SMOKE Y'ALL
My friend let me try their fishball skewers and ever since I've been on the hunt for this place to come try out their other kebabs. After days of hunting for it, we finally found it and 3 skewers later, I am delighted. I should've gotten more. Their lamb one is really good too. There's barely any meat on it but it sure has flavor. Want to try their other stuff tooHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1 - 999128Apr 1, 2023
THE BEST PLACE TO GET SKEWERS IN FLUSHING.
This place definitely sits at the top. The smokiness elevates the flavor and after all these years, I'm surprised that they kept the prices so low. Definitely check this place out, especially since it's open late at night.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 23, 2022
Skewers are such a childhood snack for me; whenever the Chinese New Year Festival came about, I would think about how much BBQ Chicken Skewers could I eat in a night. But with inflation, it wasn't really worth getting even one skewer for the night.... Stumbling on this cart in New York was such a dream because the prices were so reasonable and the vast variety they had was crazy! If we didn't have other meal plans for the day, I would of tried one of everything! The true winner of the skewers was defintely the lamb! All the reviews said that even if you don't like lamb, you would love theirs and I could see why. The gaminess was not prominent whatsoever and my friend who does not care for lamb wanted more! I really wished I could of bought back a dozen sticks back home for my friends who hate lamb just to see their reactions as well -sigh- why is New York so far from Hawaii...

This is my new to go snack place, the cart is located across from Paris Baguette Bakery.my fave are chicken and beef tendon. The meats cook right, they trimmed the burn side. You can order spicy or regular. Waiting time is okay because I came on Saturday afternoon. Definitely will order again.

Delicious bbq with a fair price. Waits can be really long if you are coming right when they setup, but still worth it. Meats are juicy and delicious. There are 4-5 carts in the area that sell something similar so if you want to go specifically to this place, compare the signs and menus.

Wooooow!
Never crave for skewers before in my life. Bieber said never say never.
Someone said these skewers are better than any expensive steak. Couldn't agree more! We only sampled the chicken, beef, and lamb. All spiced up. We waited about 15 mins for them. I realized people placed a big order and come back after a bit of shopping. What a pro move.
I never regret anything in my life. I regret not ordering more! The skewers were godly! I can't describe it but one bite can take you to heaven. Super flavorful! So glad to have tapped into this xinjiang bbq game. Can't wait to come back for more!!Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0
