I've eaten at this establishment many times and each time I like to try something different. Tonight I ordered the lobster fried rice...let me tell you...it's sooooo delicious. Plenty of lobster meat and not the "pretend" lobster meat. The portion is big enough for two. I also love their Asian Wings and Truffle fries. Prices are well worth the tasty food Service was a little slow tonight and I find this when they're very busy. Usually it's much quicker. It's okay because the tasty food makes up for it all. Ambiance is cozy and nice. I will always come back again and again and again.

the last time i tried to dine here was really the last time.. never ate here or had a drink but i kept leaving with a bad vibe.... my friend just moved to harlem and told me how good the drinks are here. we made three attempts but the last attempt is what really threw me...
3rd attempt - a very nice gentlemen sat us at the bar. the female bartender greeted us with the no tank top rule for men?!?!?!?! told my friend he had to cover up lol WEIRD because i had a tank top on too. breast showing and all but i was fine. and no one else said anything to us... very confusing policy for a bar?!?!?! and it was hot as hell outside. tank tops were very appropriate for the weather. i need someone to explain that one to me btw because im still confused on why... and then she said cash only. we got tf up outta there because i just knew how the rest of the experience was about to go. no hi, hello nothing. girl bye.
mind you, again, that was the 3rd attempt so i was already a little annoyed. the 1st attempt - we realized they open really late, 4pm. it was around 2 and we were really hungry so we ended up eating at another spot. went back to get drinks that same night and i guess we came back too late?!?!?! because we were told they were closing at 10pm... only staying open for 7hrs is weird and a waste but okay lol
i'm just happy i never wasted any of my money here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ogor O.Miami Beach, FL4921Jun 29, 2024
I'm sad to write this negative review of The Row after many visits here over several years living in Harlem, but my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. I no longer recommend...
I visited with a friend on a Saturday around 8pm. Although the restaurant was initially very crowded, we were seated at the bar, but as soon as we sat down, problems began.. The bartender (Naiajah?) was rude, condescending, and sloppy. Our orders were both submitted incorrectly and had to be remade by the kitchen. My friend was chastised by the bartender for addressing that she'd received the wrong order. The bartender was so busy gossiping with her friends at the bar to acknowledge and serve us. It was beyond disrespectful. Several of our items never made it out of the kitchen because "there were many orders ahead of us" despite a 1.5 hour wait... My friend's lamb chops were so tough, we joked she could feel them to her dog. On our way out, I overheard the bartender and her friends saying "Good, they're gone" referring to us... I have NEVER experienced such hostile service in all of NYC.
Truthfully, I don't think I'll return to The Row - the prices ($75/pp for 1 drink + 1 entree!!) are TOO high with so many other quality Black-owned restaurants in the area, it's a big no for me. They lost a customer for good.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 2 - Cinneah E.New York, NY05Jun 29, 2024

Came here for a birthday brunch. Happy to check this off place off my to-do list! I've been wanting to come for a while. I like that they have brunch day parties- and it's conveniently located. It's a woodsy homey feel - the staff and overall feel of the space is welcoming.
I had Truffle Lobster Mac - I considered myself somewhat of a connoisseur having had it all over the city and out of state. This one would be a 3 out of 10. Why? It lacked the richness that I'm used to. I'm used to not being able to finish it because of how a nice truffle can overwhelm the palette if I eat too much. This one was of a "less quality". Truffle is supposed to be funky, a good funky of course but theirs was bland, unfortunately. Maybe it wasn't aged long enough. And I was concerned about the lobster as it really gave imitation crab meat.
My GF had Truffle Fries and the Fish Tacos. She said her fries were underwhelming and cold and her tacos lacked flavor.
Sips- now our Sips were nice. Shout out to the Mixologist! We had 2nds for drinks!
The TVs make the space live and the ppl were vibing. Maybe we'll give it another go and get different bites to eat.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 1813681639Mar 16, 2024
Came here to celebrate my birthday with my girls for brunch. What a time!! The crowd was dope. Grown and sexy. No one under 40 there. Music was everything! Drinks were strong as fuck. Service was impeccable!
And the food wasn't that bad. It was okay. We ordered the mussels which I only had about 4 of. The scallops that weren't that great! Mac n cheese I thought was yummy. Shrimp and grits came out but friend ended up taking that home. The fish tacos were delicious . Some friends ordered chicken and waffles. That was aight also. Had a really really good time here! Would most definitely come back. The owner Ted was also so very accommodating to our group!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Anthony W.New York, NY5671554May 27, 2024
The Row has great food and great ambience whether you are sitting inside, outside or on the back patio. The service is laid back but they take care of you with their attentiveness. I always return back here. Be sure to check them out as it's so worth it. Truly a crown jewel in HARLEM.

Staff is super nice and attentive and I always love the Harlem vibe. Folks are always laid back and welcoming. I love that about this place.
I've had the sliders and Mac n cheese before, which were good. This visit, I tried the deviled eggs again, and they were well seasoned and the bacon just perfect. The steak I ordered was rough, however. I ordered it medium, but the cut was a terrible cut with a lot of sinew and fat, and the temperature ranged from well done on the outer edge to rare toward the middle. There was enough sinew I stopped eating. The mashed potatoes were under seasoned and the spinach overly salty.
I had a couple drinks, which were pretty good and they give you a fun little shot to go along with each drink.
That being said, I've had good food from here, and I would come here again for the staff and vibes alone, just don't order the steak!Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 0Jul 26, 2020Previous reviewThis was delivery made during COVID 19. I ordered the deviled eggs with bacon, dry aged wagyu sliders, jerk chicken mac n cheese, and home fries. The deviled eggs were well seasoned and flavorful. The home fries aren't what I consider home fries, they were more like regular shoestring French fries, but tasted good. The jerk chicken Mac n cheese was creamy with a crunchy Panko topping and the jerk chicken was juicy and had a kick to it. The wagyu sliders were my favorite. I agree with Anthony Bourdain that you can't really discern the subtle flavor of wagyu in a burger, but they were tasty, large-sized sliders all the same. Juicy and cooked medium, with good seasoning and melted coopers cheese, as well as their special sauce. I would definitely try this place again.

The food was so good here!! The cocktails were okay. Wish they had more of a variety. There wasn't much of an ambiance because I went on a Wednesday around 4-5pm. Would love to return on a weekend or later time. I have a feeling this place plays good hip hop music. Service was not bad.
