Sugar Rush Columbus

I am giving this place a 5-star review because of my love for milkshakes, chocolate chip cookies, and customer service. Now that I got that out of the way, you should come on out and check this spot out.

There are a few things in life that I love, and on that shortlist of things, milkshakes rank high up there. I just absolutely love a great milkshake, and this place has them. My go-to shake of cookies and cream is how I determine if a business will be a bust or not. It's so hard to make one of those sweet OREO infused goodness for some reason, but this place does it flawlessly. I was a little hesitant at first because the shakes can be a little bit intimidating. How can a shake be fierce?, look at the pictures that I have included with this review. You get a lot of shakes, a cookie, and a cupcake in the same order. When I got my shake, I was like, oh my Gawd, what is this monstrosity. Rest assured that everything is freaking delicious!!!

I'll start by saying that I've only experienced Sugar Rush once and it was specifically for their cupcakes. My friend's boyfriend put an order in for us and even delivered them. He's a sweetie. I got a lemon blueberry cupcake with blueberry icing and I couldn't put it down. There were whole blueberries inside, sort of like a muffin, but it was all cake. It was gone in a flash. My friend went with the red velvet and raved about it as well. I'm not in the Reynoldsburg area very often but I know my first cupcake from here won't be my last.

Very spacious inside with wide selections of goodies. The blueberry lemon cake and the cupcakes are very good.

I visited the new location with my family on a Saturday afternoon. It's literally two doors down from the old one.

I love, love, love the new look. The owner greeted us and was extremely patient and attentive to me and my kids. She gave details of whatever we asked about and made suggestions. SO much to choose from. They even have coffee and spirits infused cupcake options. The kids got a cake pop and freeze dried candy. I looked over the menu and IG page and wanted to try the Blackout! My fiance was given the suggestion to try the All Dolled Up. I also ordered a cookie dough donut. The donut was delicious, of course. I asked for a fork, and they gave us these pretty rainbow colored forks. Super cute!

I didn't love how much lime the Blackout had, but it was so cute, lol
My fiance didn't mind it, so we swapped. The owner checked in on us, asking how everything was. I gave my opinion, and she offered me the All Dolled Up on the house. How sweet?!
Also, my son dropped his cake pop, hugging the GIANT gummy bear decor. MELTDOWN!!! She replaced it when she realized what had happened.

We chilled for a second to enjoy our treats , drinks, and even a little football on the TVs.

Excellent customer service. Nice place to grab something sweet for the kids or even yourself. A drink for adults or shaje fur the kids and chill.

With the new space, I'm sure we'll be back when we need a sweet treat.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The vanilla funfetti cake was perfect. It's light and the frosting is just right - not too sweet, super perfect mouth feel. The chocolate is not as chocolatey as I like but if you're looking for a light milk chocolate flavor it's delicious.

The best desserts in Columbus . Unique and tasty. The creative drinks are a plus too. I love that they support other small local businesses by promoting their stuff in their shop.

Loved the selection. Friendly service. I got some creme brûlée cupcakes that were fabulous.

In ordered gender reveal cupcakes. The owner insisted they put colored sprinkles (called it something else) the cupcakes were hard to eat without making a mess. There were pink sprinkles inside of the box so we knew before we even had one. I was rather disappointed after spending quite a bit on 2 dozen cupcakes. Would I order from here again probably not.

I ordered the almond cake. It was the most amazing cake I have ever had in my life everybody at my party raved about it .Also, the decorations were beautifully done. Will buy my cake here every time all the time!

This was my first time ordering from Sugar Rush. I submitted an order request online and they got back to me two days later. On my request I uploaded pictures of what I wanted. But confirmed when I placed the order over the phone. Pick up was smooth. I did have a little issue with the i looking like an L to me. But when I asked if they could fix it they did it in 2 mins. The taste of the cake was very good. Mine was a simple vanilla but it was so moist and airy. I will definitely be ordering again

When you enter Sugar Rush you're greeted with bright colored decor and friendly staff! They have a selection of cupcakes, donuts and cookies here. We opted for the cookies -- s'mores and snickerdoodle. When I got home I microwaved mine and it made the cookie so satisfying gooey! The outside was a bit overcooked, but I enjoyed this treat overall. The cookies are large enough to share, however. When we're back in the area I'll be certain to make a return visit!
