Rockwood Dry Cleaners

They did a really great job with the cleaning service and the price was reasonable, however the communication could be better. I was told my dress would take no longer than a week to be cleaned and ready for pickup. I called a week after dropping it off (Friday) to confirm I could go pick it up the next day, Saturday and was given the run around and told it would be ready the following Monday after 4pm. Okay, no problem take your time. I then proceeded to call that Monday and was told it was not ready yet and would be ready on Wednesday after 2pm. I waited almost 2 weeks for my dress to be cleaned. I am glad I did not wait until later to clean my dress or else it probably would not have been ready in time for the wedding. Overall, everyone was really nice, but the communication could have been better. Don't tell me my order will be ready one day, when it actually is not. 3/5 stars.

I needed next day dry cleaning and rock wood made it happen! I'd definitely use them again! 5 star experience. Efficient, timely and amazing customer service.

A mixed experience over the years. Items have been cleaned/pressed as expected, but I wouldn't take any "intricate" items to Rockwood. A few years ago, I took a wool sweater here that had rivets along the neckline. Upon picking up the item, I contacted Rockwood to let them know that many of the rivets were missing. They found the rivets in their machine, requested I bring the item back & they'd repair it. All worked out well, other than I had to drive back and forth from Dublin. The least they could've done was refund the dry-cleaning expense for this garment due to the inconvenience. I gave them another shot this past fall with 2 wool blankets from Pendleton. Unfortunately, the leather Pendleton patch on one of the blankets was completely damaged after taking it to Rockwood. When I notified them, I was told that it was likely a Pendleton quality issue as they clean many wool blankets from that brand & have never had an issue. I was also told that the cleaner responsible for this particular blanket would have brought the damage to management's attention. Ultimately, I was told to reach out to Pendleton and see if they could send me a replacement patch (which the company does not do, understandably so.) Long story, short - I was disappointed by the lack of accountability from this business. Mistakes happen, but I've learned my lesson here. I've since found an alternate dry cleaner to use.

Until my visit to Rockwood, I had never personally taken anything to a dry cleaner before. Not sure how I've gone so long without ever doing so, but I did and wasn't even sure where to begin.
I used yelp and google to do some searching for local dry cleaners and found Rockwood. The location was very convenient for me being around the corner from where I work at the airport. I brought a two piece suit and a dress shirt in to have them cleaned. I unfortunately do not know the names of the wonderful people who helped me but both the day I dropped my stuff off and the day I picked it up, the ladies were extremely professional, helpful, and friendly.

They didn't even make fun of me when I rolled up with my suit in a bag and on hangers not knowing I didn't need to do any of that.

It only took a few days to get my stuff back and I honestly wasn't sure how much to expect it to cost. I was pleasantly surprised. For a two piece suit and a dress shirt, I only paid $22. Really good deal in my mind.

I will continue to give my business to rockwood and I highly recommend them to anyone needing dry cleaning!

I did not use the service, however I do believe they offer laundry services and do pick up and delivery to your home.

Needed a dress altered. While I thought the price was a bit high, they did great work and was done before the time we needed it.

My sorority blazer was cleaned within two (2) days and looked great! I've definitely found my new dry cleaners :)

Free pickup and delivery and dry cleaning for $16 for my two piece suit. Done you can do an annual plan where they come once a week if you need it I believe, and the other option is just whenever you need service. Which I only needed my suit dry cleaned once so I'm all set! They even gave me little pickup bags with my name on it as well for next time! Thanks Rockwood & Bobby for your quick service and help!

Got a few dresses and suits dry cleaned that had been in a box for more than a year. Average of about $8-9 per item which is less than other local places, and yet each piece was done perfectly as expected and the staff were very friendly. I like to support local businesses and I will be back to Rockwood for sure.

UPDATE: WOW my sweater looks as if nothing ever touched it. Look at the before and after pic! I'm so impressed. The staff were amazing and gave me a coupon when they found out I drove from german village to use their services. Definitely worth the drive to gahanna!

FYI the address is incorrect on Yelp. I spent 10 minutes looking for this in Bexley but it is actually located in Gahanna at 171 Grandville. The woman who updated me on the phone to the correct address was very nice. Looking forward to getting my sweater back and seeing if they were able to get the tomato soup out!

Great folks - great work - great prices. I took my departed Father's WWII uniform in to be cleaned and received VIP attention from the time I walked in the door. I received a call later to describe the process of dry cleaning the garments (pants, 2 shirts, Jacket, scarf and tie) and could sense the attention to detail that was present in this business. It was ready a week later (I told them not to hurry) and it looked Fantastic.
I honestly cannot say enough about the service I received. I would recommend Rockwood to anyone and everyone.
