I was referred here by my ENT to get my sinuses imaged. After years of bad allergies and sinus problems and putting an end to my stubbornness, I finally decided to get those irritating cavities checked out.
Once I walked through the door, the first thing I noticed was the VERY NICE waiting area. Rather posh, it was furnished with a very comfy leather couch, a dark-shaded coffee table and end tables with a nice table lamp, and a large mirror. It had a very soothing and homey feel to it and I felt like I was sitting in someone's private living room rather than a medical facility!
You're greeted by a very nice, friendly, courteous and professional staff. The check-in process is very efficient and after completing all the required forms, I probably waited less than 5 minutes before being called in on time.
The tech I had was very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns regarding the radiation exposure with a CT scan. He even informed me of every step of the process as he was doing the procedure, which took less than 10 minutes. I left there within 15 minutes from my scheduled appointment with all my images on a CD to provide to my ENT!
The facility is conveniently located a few blocks from CPMC Hospital and the medical office building. So if your doctor is situated there, getting your radiology procedures taken care of at RadNet or following up with your doctor is a snap.
Thank you RadNet for the excellent service! Highly recommended!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lxs S.Corte Madera, CA1464962Oct 14, 2023

Yes, this place is kinda old, worn & dated. It sometimes takes forever and a day to get someone to answer the phone.
But don't judge a book by it's cover!
Unfortunately I've had to have multiple X-rays and MRIs this month, and went to 2 different places. RadNet & the other which shall remain unnamed. The "other" place is new, fresh, clean, and very high tech with their Tesla 3 MRI (which they are constantly flaunting). But the front desk staff are rude, the tech there has the personality of styrofoam, and they charge you $25 for a CD copy of your images after waiting up to 15 minutes.
So why did I spend all that time describing the other place when this review is for RadNet? Because they're the complete opposite in every way!!
RadNet's staff are SUPER friendly, kind, and gentle in every way they handle their business. They're efficient, and it really seems like they actually CARE about you!! Your CD is complimentary and ready within a few minutes! And the best part? There's FREE parking in the back!!! (take THAT fancy unnamed imaging place!!)
I was initially going to give these guys a 4, because the office could use a refresh, but the more I wrote this review, I realized I don't need new carpet, or an ionizer, or any of that BS. I want someone to care about me, and NOT churn me through like it's a mill. And I want to boost their score as much as possible because they DESERVE a higher score!
So remember....just as some of the prettiest flowers have no scent, some of the ugliest ones smell the sweetest.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Ashley P.San Francisco, CA103966Aug 20, 2019
This facility is a DELIGHT. They have patient experience down perfectly. I've had several MRIs and an X-ray here, and my experience each time was great. I wish other disciplines of healthcare ran their operations like RadNet.
First, Stephanie in scheduling makes your life easy. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and calm, which puts those of us who get anxious about healthcare things at ease. Each time, she walked me through the check-in process, estimated how long it would take, and was able to tell me exactly how much I owed before I arrived at the facility. Also, I think it says something great about a facility when they keep the same personnel for years, and over the years I've noticed the same folks here, Stephanie being one of them.
Second, this facility is efficient. For one of my MRIs, I was in and out in 20-30 minutes. Also, immediately after your appointment, they hand you a CD with your images, and give you a login for an online portal where you or your doctor can view the images. Then within 24-48 hours, your results are reviewed and assessed by a radiologist.
Third, the facilities are modern and clean! There are two changing rooms and you get assigned a locker with a key to put your belongings. And the bathroom is large and clean.
Fourth, they have a T3 MRI machine, which I believe is the latest on the market, so your doctor gets great images.
Fifth, they are affordable* and high quality. I chose this facility because my insurance at the time had an absurdly high deductible, so I shopped around for places with the best price and high quality ratings. This one appears to be the best of both in San Francisco. *Healthcare is still expensive, but this place is the best for the area and quality.
The ONE downside that I experienced in the past was that they booked up a few weeks out. My situation wasn't urgent, so it was fine with me. Also, they have weekend hours now (AMAZING! Healthcare issues don't stop on the weekend), so those longer scheduling times might not be an issue anymore. If your doctor sends an order, you may be able to get in same-day, just depends on your situation.
Bottom line, if you need imaging in San Francisco, this is the place to go.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Chris H.San Francisco, CA22712Sep 3, 2016
Radnet was cool enough to squeeze me in for their last appointment on a Friday evening before closing for the weekend. They even let me walk down the block real quick to catch an Aerodactyl before going in (yah, I totally geeked out on childhood Pokemon nostalgia. Don't judge!). The process was super painless, and everyone was very kind and efficient. They actually had my CD with imaging on it ready by the time I got my pants back on. I forgot the MRI tech's name, but she accommodated my request to shove extra padding around my leg to help me not move (I've had MRI's before, and I'm sadly a mover). She even tried to help me onto and off the table because she knew I was injured.
As an added bonus, all the employees have REALLY healthy, beautiful hair here. You could totally get some pro tips while you wait for your appointment.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mike K.San Francisco, CA673836Jan 14, 2018
I was referred here by my surgeon as he did not like the MRI that was done. He wanted a clearer image of the lumbar area that is giving me a lot of pain. Everyone from the receptionist to the technician was very professional. There was an developmentally delayed adult with high anxiety who was after my appointment and I told the receptionist to take him first because he was having such problems waiting for his CT. What amazed me was how others who were waiting wanted me to take their time but they were there for other types of imaging. Once I did get in the whole procedure took less than 10 minutes. By the time I got dressed and out front my CD of the CT was ready for me. This place was so much better than Simon imaging too!
