There's a restaurant called Dunedin in north park with the same happy hour menu-are these restaurants affiliated/owned by the same owners?

      A:

They are under the same restaurant group NZ eats. They also have bareback grill in PB, Raglans in OB, and Queenstown village in downtown La Jolla.

Do they offer bottomless mimosas? How much?

      A:

They do not but they do have a $7 classic mimosa special on Sat/sun brunch from open-3pm.

This gorgeous space is perfect for brunch, inside and outside are both a great option. I really enjoyed the prawn and grits. It had to be the best grits in town!

I recommend making a reservation to secure a spot on the weekend. They also have great mimosa deals for brunch. This space is also dog friendly which made for some very cute dining guests.

Not going to be demure at all in praising our server, Sophia! As first time visitors from Minneapolis, we were struck by her friendly and helpful attitude both in what to order and which sites to see in San Diego. She was so great, we visited Queenstown two days in a row. The food here is great, but if you want an elevated service experience, ask for Sophia!

Came in, by myself, early afternoon on a Saturday for brunch. I sat at the bar and, at the time of seating, I was the only one there. Service was alternately dismissive and inattentive: waited over five minutes to be acknowledged, my breakfast order was forgotten, was not "checked-in on".

I did finally get a coffee refill from the manager on duty.

I had been waiting for my check for quite a while with my glasses, empty, and my silverware signaling that I was finished with my meal before complaining to the manager that this was some of the worst service I've ever had in my life, apart from her..

So up until now, I was still in a pretty good mood because I had nowhere I needed to be and had a great podcast on. The manager at that point decided that her response to me would be gaslighting me.

She told me that it was "team service" and that my bartender starts it off and then she comes in to help out later. *Mind you, as I am complaining to her, my bartender is talking very closely and animatedly to a woman with a very low cut top on at the other end of the bar, for a very extended period of time.

I was basically just left flabbergasted. The service that I had at Queenstown Public House was atrocious. If I were to think that there were actually two people taking care of me, there's even less excuse for me to be ignored the way I was.

All that being said, the food was fine, perhaps not exceptional enough to write a Yelp review. Unfortunately my service and overall experience was quite exceptional indeed.

For management: if a customer is complaining to you that they had really poor service and they specifically say they don't need anything comped, what they are asking for is a reason to come back. An apology, some sort of acknowledgment and ownership of the problem. Saying that "this is the way things are done" is telling us not to bother.

Since this is a New Zealand restaurant I probably should have gotten lamb, but instead got the terrible Quiche and Ahi Sandwich. Both were gross. The quiche had the consistency of an egg jello pudding with exactly one tomato slice and one mushroom in the entire thing. It was the worst quiche I've ever had. The Ahi Sandwich was fishy and had a weird stringy membrane on it. The sweet potato fries it comes with on the other hand were absolutely amazing. As was the calamari we ordered.

It seems as though I may have ordered the wrong things on the menu but both dishes we got struck out and are a hard pass. Do yourself a favor and don't get either of these dishes!

First time trying a New Zealand cuisine!

It is such a cutesy decorated place, very much cottagecore vibes. The dishes are pretty large so you can definitely share one between two people. I went for brunch and got "the cure" (house made biscuit, sausage gravy, tots, scrambled eggs, spicy chicken sausage). It was very filling and I really enjoyed the biscuits & gravy part of it.

The beet salad was delectable, juicy chunks of beets and then with a side of salmon is perfection.

The decor is so cute, even the ceilings are decorated!

Waitress was helpful as it was our first time here so appreciated that!

Perfect quiet place for an urban brunch after a workout. This area never disappoints, and all of us enjoyed our food.

The coffee was great, service was awesome, and the quiche had a great healthy taste! YUM!

I am in LOVE with this restaurant!!! The portabello fries are too die for, it was definitely the highlight of our meal. We also tried the lamb skewers and they were cooked perfectly. It also comes with hummus that is flavored so well.

The decor of the restaurant is cute and dainty, I would recommend this place again and again! On top of it all, our server was Sophia was INCREDIBLE. She was such a doll, she was attentive and even offered to take a few photos of us. What a great experience, 10/10.
