Mimi Cleaners

I went here because it was closer and cheaper than my usual dry cleaner. The customer service was good, just the quality of the dry cleaning. My clothes looked like they had been laid down on top of each other, had creases I had to iron out. More lint than I'm used to as well. I should have taken a test shirt before taking as many items as i did. Clean, I guess. Quality of cleaning, no.

Highly recommend. Friendly service, great prices, consistently does a great job and they are always on time.

I came here to get dry cleaning done on my winter coat, which had a small food stain on it, and hadn't been cleaned in a while. My dry cleaning ended up being $13.38 (after taxes). It took I think 2-3 days for them to get it dry cleaned. I showed up exactly at 7 pm (closing time) to pick my coat up, and luckily the guy working there opened the door to let me in since he was still there working for a few more minutes. The only complaint I have is that the stain that was on my coat is still visible, which is kind of crazy to me, since I paid to get it cleaned and it's not a tough stain to take out. I likely will not come back.

I've been going here since moving to Columbus at the end of November. At first, it was very good. This spring, I started finding small things; shirts missing a button, pants with a strange sheen on them. First couple of times, I let it slide. But it kept happening sporadically.

THEN RECENTLY, they lost my clothes. Three shirts, three pants. I couldn't wait for a manager, so I went back the next day. I waited again for the manager. He said they would look through all the clothes and get back to me the following day. Nothing. Two days later, NOTHING. I finally went back a few days later, and they had found them. Great. AND THEY CHARGED ME FULL PRICE! No apology, no discount! Heck, they shouldn't have charged me at all for them as they were over a week late and I had to make 3 trips there. Shame on me for not saying anything, but if I have to tell them how to run a successful business, do I want to shop their anyway?

I've just changed to Swan Cleaners, and we will see how it goes.

This place has the best prices in Lewis center. Every time I walk in the know my name, and how many shirts I have.

I also has a sweatshirt zipper fixed, and the price was fair and the work was outstanding!

This is the way a business should be operated!

Always great customer service and prices. No funny smells on the clothes when you pick them up (happened at another cleaner). Prices are competitive and you're supporting a small locally owned business! Highly recommend!

I've owned an $800 suit for over 6 years. This is the first time I've taken it to this dry cleaners. In the past 6 years I've worn it probably close to 100 times. Each time taken very well care of. The suit is in the same great condition as the day I bought it. And who wouldn't take such great care of a suit that cost you $800? It was an investment for work at a young age when I barley even had the money. Now that I've brought it here, after 6 years of great care, just 1 cleaning from these people has put 3 holes in the legs by the knees. I call mens warehouse, the people that sold me the suit, altered the suit in many places for me, and they tell me that in that location, the size of the holes, it's just not reparable. I now need a new $800 suit. So when I walk in to have the owner look at it and hopefully apologize and pay for the suit, he instead insists it wasn't them, insists on showing me their entire dry cleaning process, continues to insist it wasn't them, and that even though I've taken great care of the suit over the past 6 years that yes, over night I did take a knife to it and cut three holes in the knees so that I could blame him for it. Yup. Never going here again. The owner is unapologetically unhelpful in this super expensive mistake they made. Working to see what can be done here. Perhaps some form of insurance will cover it? Maybe small claims court? We will see. Lots of great reviews suggest they do a good job, at least when they do a good job. Go ahead and roll the dice and hope they don't make a mistake like other reviews suggest, cause they will NOT take responsibility. And if your clothing has any value at all it's all on you.

I was desperate to find somewhere that could steam and press my sons and my attire for our parent prom this evening. Many businesses kept turning me away but I walked into Mimi's and was immediately greeted by a gentleman by the name of Andy who was beyond welcoming and kind. I told him my dilemma and although he told me I missed the deadline for same day service but that he would accommodate me this one time. I'm soooo appreciative and thankful, that's amazing customer service and I will def be back. Thank you Andy :)))

Had to find a new dry cleaner in the area since the $1.99 next-day service cleaner closed. I knew I wouldn't find another $1.99 cleaner near by. I decided to try Mimi. Their staff was very nice, and my clothes were dry cleaned to my satisfaction. I wish their turn-around time was faster, but at least I know what to expect in my next visit.
