I went to school here years back.
I played on the football team that won CIF under Fitch. I wrested under coach Cruz.
I had some very good memories here before moving onto the Marine Corps and then to my career.

A couple teachers that were amazing were Mr Pendleton, Mr Irving, Mr Lake. These were men I really admired and looked up too. There were several others, but they just don't ring a bell.

Being a successful person in life now. Having children of my own. There is one teacher I would never allow my child to be in their class. Alan Ito was a bully to me, and picked on me on a daily basis. I remember this years later.

He's probably happy I didn't have parents who were around back then. They probably would have pulled me from his class if they were.

Anyway, I just like to give credit where it's due.

      Go Monsoons

It's meh ish like it's good it's just some teachers and students that make it horrible you can make amazing friends here and great memories and since the new building is up I am sure it's gonna help but at the same time staff legitimately suck like you get sent back because you don't have an 8th period on your Aries? Like wth and they care about the way you at and dress more then the drugs and the smoking in plain sight? But overall it's alr ig lol

This school has to be the worst school in California . The staff here is the worst, the middle school vice principle and the counselor do not care about your children. My student has had an extremely hard 2 years at this school, and all they did was call child services. Take a look around your school because the bullying in there is extremely bad, the drug usage. The lack of security they have. This school is just poison for your children. Do yourself a favor and pull them out. Il

It really isn't as good as people make it seem, the staff always gets angry for no reason most of the time and once one of the staff got on my @$$ because, and this is the only time I did something not even that bad and they know it I'm always rhe chillest one, tossing a piece of sandwich bread like a frisbee and hitting absolutely no one and injuring no one who might have dodged it cause it wasn't going to anyone, and kids do drugs in the bathroom all the time and they rarely even check in there it's every passing period guys check harder

Beautiful campus, it's very well taken care of it.

There is a soccer field, that is gated off. Two gates on both sides of the field so easy access.
During the weekend, it's locked but I have seen people jumping the fence.

The school itself sits on a very long block, and is surrounded by residential houses.

Parking is available around all sides of the school.
      Watch out for signs.

I Absolutely love Mayfair high school and middle school my 25-year-old attended their son be great seven up until she graduated as a senior and my now 16-year-old has been attending the same school as well since the seventh grade. I am always able to get in contact with my daughter's teachers and the counselor as well as the principal and vice principal, the office staff is always so polite when I call in or coming to the school.

Trash trash trash nothing but trash and terrible people. Rude teachers who bully students and don't care about their education. Way behind in education I mean way behind. That's why the students do not go to good schools or learn anything. All staff even the principal don't care about the students nor safety. They do drugs in the bathrooms and the staff do not care. The students are just as bad as the staff. So many problems at this school and its unfixable. Do not send your child here. They will bully and make them less educated then people at other schools. They treat the students in lessons and homework like little children. Elemetery kids get better education than students at this school. Restrooms are dirty, smell, small. The teachers are terrible but that's how it is in all Long Beach district schools. If you want your child to fail and be behind or less educated sent them to this school. They give no help or opportunities. Waste of time, money and space.

My son is a Senior and has been attending since 7th grade. I'm always able to reach his teachers and counselor whenever I have questions or concerns and they always get back to me within 48hrs. Great classes and athletic program....parent involvement is exceptional..... no complaints here!
