this school is so sigma!some of the kids are a bit silly though...... and there's quite a bit of bullying here

This review is solely for Election Day accommodations. It has nothing to do with the school which I have no personal experience with.

I have voted at Independence Middle School for over 12 years. Surprisingly the polling area is approximately 2.5 miles from my home. The Bayside Recreation polling area is much closer.

The school has utilized the library and the cafeteria in years past. When expecting larger turn outs the cafe is primary.

My most recent experience is with the 2018 mid-terms where the cafeteria was used. The area was clean and not as large as one may think for a middle school. A stage is also available.

On other occasions the school library has been used. It has been tidy, organized and clean in years past. Not a lot of square footage in my opinion.

For my voting experiences the accommodations have been adequate to conduct my civic duty.

Very under rated school. The teachers and principals are great! Really good neighborhood as well.
