We are very happy with all of the teachers who are preparing our son for the sat test. So thankful to have this school here in Chesapeake.

This program offers a fantastic alternative to public school education. It offers a more personal school experience, without most of the "busy work" and social nonsense kids deal with in the public, and private school setting. Grade Power is something entirely different, and I wish we had known about it sooner."

I loved the service! Personalized, caring teachers and mentors are the hallmark at GradePower! Faith and her staff do an excellent job assessing the strengths and opportunities for each child, and then tailoring a program to make improvements.

Love GradePower Learning. They have made such a difference. Completely different experience from public school over crowded class rooms. Faith, the other teachers and staff are wonderful and caring. They assess where the kids need help and work on a program specifically for that child.

"We initially used Oxford for 1 year from 4th-5th grade for math tutoring and it brought him up to grade level. My son has ADHD with a processing deficiency of getting the information out of his brain to his hand to write the information down, so it made learning a much slower pace. My son had an IEP from the school since 3rd grade, and by 5th grade the school still didn't think "he needed" anything, so his IEP still had with no helpful accommodations on it. We were struggling. While in one of my progress meetings with Faith, I expressed my frustration with the school and the lack of help my son was receiving having an IEP. She asked me to bring it in for us to go over and she was speechless when she saw the document, Faith isn't usually speechless! Faith got that straight real quick. She fought for my son right beside me. His middle school years were much better but still a struggle for my son. He was a "B/C" student with an A from time to time. Come high school the pace was very fast and he couldn't keep up. Again an IEP with accommodations for the writing part and as of 6 weeks into his English the special ed teacher had not assisted him once, by November he was failing all core courses. He was also small for his age so he was also being picked on in high school. I was in contact again with Faith for some direction, and we talked about our options. I withdrew him from public school, began the Penn Foster high school program with him. I helped him with the science, history and such, when I got home from work in the evening. We went to Oxford 2 times a week for them to do the math and English with him. He finished the program with a 3.6 gpa which is a high school diploma in three years. He was then accepted to a trade school and had to take an entrance exam. I bought the study guide on line and again Oxford helped him 2 times a week for 1 month. He passed the entrance test and 1 1/2 year later he has graduated from the diesel mechanic program. My son was then accepted into their advance training technology Cummins program which will finish up in February 2016. Most of my sons schools days were a battle, and so glad we had this option with Oxford. We couldn't have made it through without there continued support and encouragement. I would definitely recommend them! Thank you for helping my son soar."
