Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant- Columbus

I recommend a reservation if you'd like to sit in the bar otherwise the high tops are first come first serve, however, the booths are reserved for reservations.

Ambiance
It's a nice looking place with a unique bar entrance. The actual bar tables are are high tops are booth. Outside patio dining is available and they have a large dining room.

Dinner was really good. Everyone loved everything we ordered. Photos included.

Service was very good as well.

I have been to Cooper's Hawk many, many times over the past decade and it is at the top of my list for favorite restaurants in the Easton area! I always have a great time; always experience the best customer service; and always, always enjoy the most delicious food and drinks while I am here! Some of my favorites are:
- Crab, Shrimp, and Lobster Bisque - You can get a cup or bowl. I typically go with a bowl as I cannot get enough of the creamy flavor and large chunks of crab, shrimp, and lobster in the bisque! Super yummy!
- Shrimp & Scallop Risotto - This dish is served temperature hot and tastes fresh! While the shrimp and scallops are cooked to perfection, the added asparagus, parmesan, peas, spinach, sweet corn, and white truffle oil help make this dish so tasty!
- Braised Short Rib Risotto - This is obviously similar to the Shrimp & Scallop Risotto; however, is much more savory! Absolutely delish!
- Italian Sausage & Whipped Burrata Flatbread - We love how crispy and thin the flatbread is as well as the herby/smokey flavor of the Italian sausage and whipped burrata combined!

While the portions may not look big in pics or even in person, trust me - they are pretty big and filling!

We also always order a decanter of Pinot Noir! Please go order, enjoy, and have some fun!

I have to say that this was some of the best food I have tasted in a long time. I will admit that I do not go out to eat that much at finer restaurants, but I thoroughly enjoyed everything at this restaurant!

The Parmesan crusted chicken, mashed potatoes, asparagus, even the steak medallions with the fried onions on top, all were seasoned with perfection. I ended with the chocolate mousse cake which was light and not overly sweet. I will definitely be returning.

Had dinner here the other night and we sat out on the patio which was very nice. We had the cheese plate for an appetizer. It had three different cheeses on it. Two of them was good but the third one was nothing but cottage cheese . It was disappointing and not worth the twenty four dollars . I had the short rib risotto and it was very good. My daughter had the ahi tuna and she really liked it . We had the peach desert which we gave thumbs up . It would even been better if it came with some ice cream

My wife and I were visiting the Columbus area on Monday and decided to stop in here due to our previous experiences wondering which side of the scale it would be? We are very pleased that it was on the positive side! We had a seat outside on the patio on a very pleasant day. Our server was personal and professional. We decided to order off their lunch menu. My wife ordered their pretzel crusted pork chop while I had ordered there Parmesan crusted chicken. We ordered our drinks first. We were worried about how long it would take remembering one of our previous visits. However, it wasn't that bad this visit. My Negroni was excellent and my wife enjoyed her Cooper's Hawk,Pinot Noir. Our lunches came out in a reasonable amount of time and were absolutely delicious. More than enough for a lunch!

It's been a couple years since I've been and it's definitely changed.its more crowded, loud, and not quite as classy. I would describe it more casual than fine dining with the exception of the price. I came for dinner, Service was really slow, it took 15-20 min to get a glass of wine. :/ I ordered the bruschetta appetizer, churrasco, and my husband the surf and turf filet medallions and shrimp (only 3 pieces). The food was good, nothing to brag about. With all the options C-bus has to offer I would rather go somewhere else.

We had a great meal here on a very busy Friday night. I started with the tortilla soup which was very good, and the pretzel bread that comes for the table was also very good. My wife had the roasted vegetable flatbread with the Caesar salad combo and it was very good. I had surf and turf with the churrasco steak and ahi tuna with mashed potatoes and broccolini and it was excellent, especially the Tuna. Perfectly seared rare with some sort of great seasoning. My son had the kids Mac and cheese and fries and it was also very good and abundant in size. The wine was also very good. The service was a bit slow to start but recovered well after that. We sat outside which was nice even with all the cars driving by.

We enjoyed dining here for a business dinner with our regional team. I got there a little early to do a little wine tasting. So glad I did. I had a blast learning about and tasting many of their wonderful wines. I was pleasantly surprised.

Unfortunately the evening was a little flat for the rest of the evening. The service was super slow. Two of us ordered the sea bass and it was so salty, we had to send it back. We decided to order something else and it was just ok. We were so disappointed because we had been looking forward to this meal all day.

It is definitely time for an update on my Cooper's Hawk Winery review. Cooper's Hawk has been one of my favorite restaurants for about a year. My favorite thing to do is go to the wine tasting. The wine tastings are $12 each and you get about 7-8 pours which makes you feel a little tipsy or is that just me? Our bartender last night was Vinnie and he was able to give us all the details on each wine and knew after a few pours if we would like a wine or not.

Once you're done with the tastings which is first come first serve and takes about an hour to an hour and a half depending on the amount of people you come with a dinner reservation is a must. We had a reservation for 6 pm and got there around 5 pm with three of us.

The restaurant is super busy but the food is amazing. My favorite appetizer is the Crispy Brussel Sprouts with cashews, mint, sweet Thai chili, sesame-sriracha aioli. I could eat those everyday. My go to is the flatbread and salad. The Roasted Vegetable and Goat Cheese flatbread is my favorite. It comes with mozzarella, roasted grape tomatoes, pesto, basil and balsamic glaze. I also like to get the Caesar salad with it.

If you're wanting to splurge, the surf and turf is to die for. I get the Parmesan crusted filet medallions and the scallop gratin. Both so yummy. I normally substitute the roasted veggies to more potatoes as the Mary's potatoes as so amazing.

For dessert, their truffles are so good but the best is the S'more Budino. It's Carmel custard, valrhona chocolate mousse, brown- butter toasted graham crackers. You'll savor every bite.

If you want good wine, exceptional service, a beautiful location to eat at, this is your place...

I was here with my daughter-in-law's family for personal business. At the suggestion of the daughter-in-law, we ended up here on our last night together. What a spectacular suggestion. The location is very nice and the restaurant/wine bar is simply beautiful to look at and be within. After a short wait we were taken to our table.

The service was as top-notch as you would and should expect from a place that puts on the front this place does. Our waitress was very patient with me (as this was my first time there) and unlike other wait staff I have asked for advice from (you know, what to choose off the menu) she had no qualms of letting me know what she like and didn't.

The food itself? Spectacular. I ate something I normally don't eat but I can tell you, just about everything on the menu was that way. Truly a special place to come to.

I will say, it is pricey. Not the place you would come every weekend too, but certainly the place to celebrate special moments and occasions, I was certainly very happy to have spent ours, on that day, with Cooper's Hawk.
