3 things to know about them going in:
1. They primarily deal with totaled/salvaged vehicles that they rebuild (next door).
2. The price is the price, they won't haggle much if at all.
3. They really don't want your trade-in. If you have a trade-in don't expect to be offered much for it.
If you're okay with these 3 ground rules then this is a decent place to car shop. Last summer I needed a car pretty quick. I purchased a Corolla that I knew had been hit in the rear and repaired. Driving it home it didn't steer quite right. There was some leftover rear suspension damage that couldn't be seen visually but showed up plainly on an alignment rack. I took the car back to them and they made it right. Also included was a year long drive train warranty. The car has been great since. I would recommend them just understand the ground rules.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mike F.Columbus, OH010Sep 26, 2023
Overall, this is one of the better car-buying experiences I've had in my 25+ years of driving. The cars are newer to not as old and are rebuilt titles, meaning they have been involved in an accident but the guy who runs the joint only sells cars that have only suffered body damage. They do their own body work and do excellent work to the point that you cannot tell the car has been damaged.
He can give a price break because of the depreciation the cars face over having been in an accident but because he's less expensive than everyone else, he is not generous on trade and will not come down on the price. Be prepared to pretty much pay his asking price plus ballpark of $1,000 for tax and title. He's probably going to be better than anyone else you could buy a car from.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Irina S.Lewis Center, OH0180Jan 27, 2024
Polite, nice people work there. They sell used cars, mostly with rebuilt titles and honestly tell you everything about their cars like it is without making things up. It was pleasure to have a deal with the owner of this dealership and his employee Sarah.

Clintonville Car Sales on East Livingston allowed me to buy a car that was within my price range with low mileage. I looked at 3 other care sales locations and could not get the deal I got from them. They were nice enough to let me park my old car there for a day while I transferred the title and finalized that sale also. They were prompt and courteous and came through with the paperwork and suggested a good loan company. Thanks Clintonville Car Sales!

This place is ok. I paid my car off after 3 years. It was priced a little high for the true value of the car in my opinion. Shortly after I got it I started having problems. Brakes, starter, hoses ect... when I had the oil changed and a tune up my mechanic told me that the car had never had a tune up before. And the oil most likely hadn't been changed in awhile.

We bought a Jeep for my daughter and it had some problems within the 30 day period they fixed it no questions asked. Later another issue came up and they fixed it at their shop and allowed us to make payments on the repairs. Easy to work with.

One of the worst mistakes I've ever made was trusting the honesty and integrity of this dealership. I'll go into details later in an edit when I have more time. But believe me, you're going to want to buckle up for this four-month epic. Meanwhile, I strongly suggest you shop somewhere else for a used car.
