Uncle Tony's Pizza

Love their buffalo chicken pizza, chicken Caesar salad pizza! Service is great. Right around the corner from my job site, we get a different pie every Thursday.

On a day I wanted pizza, I came across Uncle Tony's. I think they are related to the nearby Italian restaurant Fumo's as they had some of their pizza boxes in the shop. I was looking forward to that since it's a sign they make other food well enough to open another shop.

When I was ready to order, they were out of the Grandma Slice. But they did say it was a few more minutes until a fresh one was ready so I order a buffalo slice, grandma slice, and a ginger ale. I picked up the ready made slice and drink and was told they'll call me for the last one since I was eating in. The grandma slice gets made and they just didn't call me, I finished my starting order and then asked about it. The person by the register simply forgot which happens. They then gave me my last slice.

As for the pizza, they make thin crust pizza like a New York style. It was good and flavorful. Personally, I enjoy my pizza to have more sauce under the cheese or when I'm in NYC I often want a greasy or oily pizza from a small shop which they didn't do here. I don't really have complaints about Uncle Tony's, just wasn't really my preference of pizza style. I can see others really liking it though

Order from this Italian pizza place as I was looking for different pizza options in the area. It was honestly not too bad and I wouldn't mind ordering from here again but it wasn't amazing pizza. I ordered a standard cheese pie and I enjoyed it. Their sizing is also very big for pies.

The BF and I had tickets to a show at Harlem Stage on this blustery cold night and had made our way up to Harlem from BK much quicker than expected. A quick search on the Happy Cow app revealed Uncle Tony's and its vegan pies! We decided to swing by and grab a couple slices.

The service was reasonably friendly and super quick. The vegan slice was delicious! The crust had just the right amount of crispness on the bottom and was topped with plentiful tomato sauce, vegan cheese, and generous dollops of basil pesto. The pizza was truly outstanding and the dining area was welcoming and bright. Next time I am in the neighborhood, I will definitely be back!

This is a review of the delivery only. So I've been out of the States for years. And as soon as I arrived into New York I ordered from here through Uber Eats (which I absolutely do not recommend using them ever). I had the Grandma Pizza and a bottle of water all to myself.

The pizza was good, obviously if you come to NYC, your first slice should be from John's or something, but I was impatient and was quarantining. It's a thin crust Sicilian. It's a very basic pizza but super tasty since the ingredients they use are of high quality. Garlic plum tomatos, fresh mozzarella, and extra virgin olive oil. All worked together delightfully. Not too greasy, not too rich, a perfectly baked crust. Also surprisingly filling, as I could only eat 2-3 slices before having to call it quits.

Would definitely drop by if I'm ever in the area again!

Ordered half cheese/half chicken - skimped out on the chicken and pizza came cold - not the best

**Extremely disappointed.**

I ordered the "white pizza," and it supposed to come with ricotta but I felt like they didn't put enough. They seem to be cheap on toppings. I asked for mushrooms (for an extra amount) and got very little pieces of mushrooms. The pizza was so thin and hard it was like CARDBOARD. Maybe it was over cooked....

Just extremely disappointed. Over priced and not enjoyable. I had to microwave it to soften it up.

The one good thing is each slice is large. But overall would not eat it again or pay that much. (30 dollars after adding 1 topping).

I ordered a gramma scicilian for delivery and my fiancé noticed a funny smell. I lifted the cheese and there was this greyish brown stuff all over the dough. I wasn't totally sure it was mold because honestly, as a life long New Yorker I've never experienced something like this. 20 minutes later it turns brown/black. I am the son of small business owners and I promise you that these pictures are from withIn 30 minutes of having the pie delivered. Ive had no previous animosity with the owners and have walked in before to grab a slice and the guys behind the counter seemed really nice. This isn't some type of targeted attack on them. Whoever is responsible for prepping dough in this pizzeria should be fired. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

GREAT pizza. Love their slices!!! Highly recommend to anyone around city college's campus.

When Uncle Tony's first opened, it was AMAZING! super fresh ingredients and creative specialty pizzas. The prices were decent and the service was great too.

As of late, the quality has drastically decreased and the prices increased. The last three times in a row, the pizza was noticeably old and over cooked. We were super disappointed this has happened but we are now forced to look for a new pizza spot. After all, for the price of their pizza ($20+) we expect high quality food.
