Amazing service and amazing food. The ambiance of the restaurant felt warm and welcoming, yet refined and professional. Couldn't have for a better birthday dinner.

I came here to recover from a borscht highway robbery

Yes you read that right. If you read my last review, you'd see I semi accidentally but mostly through my general trusting nature (and overall social anxiety) refused to call out an up-charge (tip display dichotomy) on an amazing Eastern European meal down the street)

Me, as a Michelin guide fangirl, immediately pulled up the app and tried to see where I could get in last minute to resurrect this depressing C train ride down here. Manhatta showed up and I immediately got bar seating

The drinks are all INCREDIBLE!! I also got the olive oil cake for dessert and it was one of the most balanced, tastiest, desserts I've had here in NYC. They weave a little molecular gastronomy into it as well with the freeze dried at strawberry element. The service is incredibly warm and the view is the best in FIDI if you're looking for that!! I wish I came here for lunch. I cant wait to come back

4.5 star review! I came here with a few coworkers and we all had a great time! Manhatta is a restaurant located on the 60th floor with amazing views of the city. If possible, I would recommend to try requesting a table by the window. We came on a Wednesday evening and the dining room was very full the whole night.

We opted for the 4 course menu - I tried the lobster carpaccio, live scallop (which is not actually fully raw since it is seared), code and toasted rice mille-feuille. The dinner also included an amuse bouche which was a tart with caviar, sourdough bread, a palate cleanser sorbert and mini macarons to finish. Everything was delicious! The one dish that I thought was just okay was the cod.

Cocktails wise, I tried the "Body Language", "Look to the Cookie" and "Irish Kape". The cookie cocktail was so delicious, I highly recommend this one. I was a little disappointed by the Irish Kape - I was excited for the Ube cream on top but unfortunately could not taste much ube.

Overall, service was great as well. The only small nit was that they got some of our orders mixed up within our group a couple of times.

      Food 9/10
Went for a birthday dinner. The hamburger was surprisingly good, which we ordered at night even though it wasn't on the dining area menu. The team was nice enough to allow us to put in three orders, in addition to the three course meal we put down. I was so stuffed at the end. The red wine was very smooth. All three courses were very solid, the duck was my least favorite part, as I felt like it could've been more tender / flavorful. Their desserts were very delicious, so delicious that I forgot to take a photo. But the star of the show was actually the hamburger, which thoroughly shocked me. I usually never eat hamburgers, so I guess this was a very pleasant surprise

      Atmosphere 10/10
Gorgeous skyscraper view of the city. It was beautiful to be seated facing north by the window, watching the sun set as we enjoyed our meal. Very spacious and sleek modern design.

      Service 10/10
Amazing service and hospitality. A great experience.

It's been a while since I came here for Restaurant Week, but my mom still raves about the tartare to this day. I loved all of the dishes we tried. The tartare was so tender but not heavy at all. The flavors were refreshing. The oysters were so sweet. I loved the sauce that came with the soft hamachi. The gem lettuce salad was so savory. The grilling of the lettuce was something I never imagined, but it worked so well.

The bavette was soft and tender. The cabbage was I believe slightly pickled. The chicken a little bit on the saltier side for me but still very tasty.

Desserts were too sweet for my palette, but the texture of the tart was amazing. Loved the flakiness.

The service was stellar. The views were amazing. I highly recommend coming to Manhattan.

One of the best restaurants high above NYC. Set in downtown Financial District on the 60th floor the restaurant faces uptown with views up to midtown.
They have a few sets of binoculars by the window so you can discover the view of the city.
The food is delicious and good value for a nice dining experience.
They have two prix fix menu options three and four courses for $115 or $145.
Highlights include, the tuna with uni and a yummy broth, scallop, soft shell crab, and the beef. I also enjoyed the milk chocolate dessert and the corn dessert.
Service was fantastic, very attentive, helpful with synchronised service.

The location is beautiful. The service is amazing. The food is very good but not quite on par with the ambiance and the service.

Raw Sweet Shrimp pw/ rhubarb, horseradish and sugar snap peas - very good, but the sweet shrimp at sushi restaurants is much better.

Blue Fin Tuna and Unin with smoked tomato, peanut and thai basil - it was a very clean neutral flavor, not much depth.

Live Scallop with Courgette, chanterells, and tomato - we requested the sauce to be on the side, which was a good call. The sauce would have been a little too heavy. The scallops were cooked perfectly and this was the best appetizer option in our opinion.

Soft shell crab with buttermilk ramp dressing and caviar - The batter was a little too thick and the sauce a little heavy.

Dry Aged duck with pistachio, fava bean , candied black olive, strawberry - soft, good standard choice

Ribeye of Beef with caraflex cabbage, smoked beef heart, and sauce charcuterie - very good choice

I would come back for drinks and the view.

If you're thinking about stopping by here- do it. The views of Manhattan are amazing. Make sure to grab a reservation or else you may not get in or may have quite the wait.
I've been twice & each time is magical. The views during the day time are spectacular & the night time views are so beautiful.
Come grab a drink & an app or come for their 3 course meal. You will not be disappointed.
