This is my favorite bible and I use it personally as my forever bible. I highly reccomend this bible. It is affordable, hard cover, large print, which makes the KJV so much easier and less frustrating to read! The spelling is good. It has the red letter of spoken words of Jesus(God). It is powerful! More powerful than all the counterfeit versions (the message, niv, NLT, esv, ect.) The KJV has the true spirit of God and is not missing scripture like all other versions. This bible is a sword. It is alive! John 1:1! I felt the power once I started reading it. (I used to read NLT. I do not at all anymore!) Also Bros and sisters, word of advice...We cannot fulfill the 10 till we fulfill the 2 (most important things we Christians need to be focused on.) the 2 commandments that Jesus commanded of us. Love God first! How? Read the word! The bible. Also we learn to Love one another by?...reading the word! Very important! I also reccomend both KJV versions of vines and strongs concordence (the tan one with pictures across it.) ...if you need help studying. Very helpful if you want to study specific topics. We know it's the date of the rapture due to God promising to pour out his Holy Spirit upon all flesh in the end days. He is telling and warning us of the coming rapture. Be warned.

Amos 3:7
Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Joel 2:28-32 & Acts 2:17-21 is where God promises to pour out his Holy Spirit upon all flesh in the last days. Children will prophesy (check), young men will be given visions (check), and our old men will dream dreams (check).

1 Corinthians 15:52, 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-5, Hebrews 10:25, and Revelation 3:3 all tell us that the true believers will know the time of the rapture.

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Thessalonians 4:16

Revelation 3:3
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

- 1 Thessalonians 5:4 tells us we will know the day. (Written as per the revelation Jesus gave to Paul - Galatians 1:11-12).
- Revelation 3:3 tells us we will know the hour. (The very words of Jesus directly).

12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

We can conclude with Mark 13:37 where Jesus Himself tells us to watch. If we cannot know the date of the rapture, why would Jesus tell us to watch for it?

The rapture and second coming of Jesus are two totally different and separate events.
The rapture happens at the beginning of the seven year tribulation period.
The second coming happens at the end of the seven year tribulation period.

A no-frills, easy-to-read, shareable KJV copy of the Bible!

I got this King James Version copy of the Bible to donate to the break room at my job. I selected this particular copy by Zondervan because 1.) this copy has no commentaries or notes by editors who give their own theological opinions and interpretations, and 2.) the construction of this copy is excellent. This is a "pew Bible"—the kind you would find in the cubbyhole in the back of the pew in front of you at many churches. It is hardcover, and a little on the heavy side. I personally would not prefer to carry it around with me (I have lightweight and flexible leather-bound Scriptures for that) but for tabletop reading, it's great. The medium large text size should be easy on almost anyone's eyes (I have 20/40 vision in my left eye, and I can see the text just fine). The words of Christ are in red.

This copy is not fancy, but it's jet-black cover with gilded lettering has that reverential, simple attractiveness that I appreciate in a Bible. And it all comes at a very affordable price!

Big bible with introduction and extra information. Includes pictures drawn by Gustave Dore. Absolutely beautiful bible with good font easy to read. Good separation. It doesn’t include the little tabs that you can jump to other chapters with but it has a bookmark. It’s meant to be a Bible you read if you’re reading the Bible the proper way not jumping to different verses like you would in a church. It has a hefty weight too. I love this Bible. Praise god

Yes, Love these, I ordered 3 and wish I had ordered more for the Church, I will when the price goes back down to $5.75, what a deal. The print is almost large enough for me to read without reading glasses, but print is very LARGE. This is a heavy, sturdy bible and I can tell it will hold up well from lots of use.

**The box these came in was totally torn open on one end so much that I could have slipped the Bibles out through the opening, don't know how they were still in there (they came USPS but think they started out UPS or FedEx), the other end was also ripped as were the top and bottom. I see people rate items on here and give 2, 3 stars because of packing, Amazon packed this with NO PADDING, bubble wrap, etc. But had nothing to do with the quality of the Bible which is why I gave 5 stars as deserved.** Thats what us customers want to know about....the quality of the PRODUCT, but is is also helpful know about the packing.
