Raising Cane’s to open new restaurant in Michigan City next week
MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (WNDU) - A popular fast casual food chain will open its doors at its newest location in Michiana next week.
Raising Cane’s is celebrating its opening day at the new restaurant at 5000 Franklin Street in Michigan City on Thursday, May 30.
According to the company, it will be the seventh restaurant in Indiana. It will also be the second Raising Cane’s in Michiana after the first one opened in Mishawaka back in 2020.
The chain specializes in chicken fingers. It’s also known for its lemonade, Texas toast, and special “Cane’s Sauce.”
Doors officially open at the Michigan City restaurant next Thursday at 10 a.m. To celebrate the occasion, there will be a “Lucky 20″ drawing to award 20 customers (ages 13 and older) with Free Raising Cane’s for a year. The first 100 customers who purchase a box combo will also get a commemorative hat and a free box combo card that’s valid for their next visit.
Entries for the “Lucky 20″ drawing will be accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Thursday.
