NOT Actium
The point itself may appear on older maps as Actium in an inexact way but the actual name of the cape is Akri or Ákri. See e.g. The British Admiralty gazetteer. It was also known as La Punta from the Venetian charts or as Cape Aktion from the Greeks. See e.g. File:IAN 0634 K.u.K 1895 Gulf of Arta.jpg. Actium proper was the settlement to the south of the cape or the location of the naval battle off its shores. — LlywelynII (talk) 03:05, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
