Song "Na Sua Estante" by Pitty

Hi!
Na Sua Estante (Q10335243) and Na Sua Estante (Q97378333) refer to the same song. The correct is Na Sua Estante (Q10335243). The other one is just a redirect. Both should be merged. Minerva97 (talk) 14:37, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

French Institute of Petroleum

Hi, everybody,

seem to refer to the same entity, but my attempt to merge them failed due to some reference from one to the other.

Please someone more fluent in WikiData check if they actually should stay separate, and merge if possible. --CiaPan (talk) 09:12, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@CiaPan: Institut Français du Pétrole (Q116455574)merged into (P7888)French Institute of Petroleum (Q84026). They aren’t the same entity. —Tacsipacsi (talk) 23:14, 23 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Fails silently when you enter a string instead of an item ID

Since I am a Wikidata noob, I copy pasted an item title instead of the item ID. It failed silently, and it took me a few minutes to figure out.

Steps to reproduce:

  • activate gadget in preferences
  • visit some item
  • more -> merge with
  • type in a string instead of an item ID
  • untick "Always merge into the older entity"
  • click "merge"

What happens?

  • Nothing

What should happen instead

  • Warning modal, or red warning string, or turn the text box red, etc.
