Jeremy Strong has officially divorced himself from Kendall Roy. At the 2025 Golden Globes, the actor—who is nominated for his role as Roy Cohn in Ali Abbasi’s The Apprentice—opted for an outré look that felt miles away from the Loro Piana-wearing eldest boy…even though he was still wearing Loro Piana.
Strong wore a green velvet suit (in what one of my colleagues called a Gumby-esque shade) over a white turtleneck sweater. He coordinated his bold suiting with a bucket hat and a pair of Jacques Marie Mage aviators with yellow tinted lenses.
Strong has been committed to the monochromatic lifestyle since childhood. “I had a period as a child where I wore neon only,” he said on The Run-Through With Vogue last year. The impulse carried on into adulthood. “I only wore navy for a couple of years,” he added.
Jeremy Strong left his navy phase behind for the Season 4 premiere of Succession when he wore an all-brown ’fit. Now, he’s leaving Kendall behind once and for all in his most eccentric look yet.
