Hayley Maitland

Hayley Maitland oversees content for the Arts & Lifestyle section, writing and editing pieces about culture, travel and food. She previously worked as entertainment writer for the site and features assistant for the magazine after winning the Vogue Talent Contest. In 2018, she helped to launch British Vogue’s first podcast, Appearances, with Academy Award-winner and contributing editor Steve McQueen. She has an MA in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh, where she spent four years begrudgingly learning to enjoy both Robert Burns and whisky.
