In our company, the main use we give to Microsoft Entra ID is for the configuration, automation and management of each of the access keys in order to maintain privacy and improve the general security in the login of the services we use in the cloud. We have many platforms that we use in the cloud, so with this platform we can incorporate an easy access key so that each employee saves time when logging in and can be productive without wasting so much time or worrying about secure login.

Microsoft Entra ID secures our organization as an identity and access management platform and it ensures restricted and safe access to data and applications across cloud and hybrid environments. The integration with Microsoft 365, self password management, and the MFA feature makes the tool very functional. We have Microsoft Entra ID deployed in all departments and my experience has bee phenomenal.

In our organization, Microsoft Entra ID serves as a security backbone when it comes to IAM management. From Securing access to resources, managing user identities or for login authentication process for any project, Microsoft Entra ID protects us from security breaches or unauthorized access. It is like the digital security guard that helps to keep a vigil watch on our digital infrastructure and enables when and how people or users should get access to our systems or remote projects.

We mainly use it for single sign on while it's part of our hybrid active directory.

It's for company identity and it's many use case. It can be for the apps or VPN and many other.

We used it to verify users, both on and off the network for validation and data access.

We have a user who use Azure and we use AD Connect to synchronize our on-prem ad to Entra ID. So that's what we are doing.

I use it to manage our staff access. I also access to endpoints, devices, on and off boarding. We utilize it for that. I mean anything within our organization that has to do with Azure we use.

Entra ID is really user access management or group management. We've been using it for identity access, setting up. I'm trying to think of the international access exemptions. Lots of other stuff.

Well, one is we use it to log into the laptops, so MacBook, but also Windows laptops, making sure that we have central authentication to our cloud applications. One of the business advantages that we have gotten out of it is we have about just over a hundred applications connected to it with single sign on. So it makes it easier for people to get into it without having to remember all the passwords, but it also helps us to have multifactor authentication enforced for all the applications, even if the cloud application doesn't have MFA themselves. And then we also have used conditional access. We make it that we do compliance checks to verify which device that you're coming from and that it's only like if you're an authenticated user coming from a compliant device that you're allowed to use the cloud application that we give access to.

We are an MSSP and an MSP. So we have a number of clients that we resell Microsoft products to. A lot of them being Entra ID. So we support their end users for the total suite of Microsoft things. So maintaining Azure AD and now Entra ID, Microsoft 365 email. One comment I do have is the renaming of things constantly has been somewhat of an issue and pain point, but otherwise, I mean the product is a good product. It does what it needs to do well. It's just confusing at times with the renaming of everything.

I'm the IT admin at our company, and I use Microsoft Entra ID to create employee accounts. Depending on clearance, I help set what applications employees can access and what they cannot. In addition, this tool is fantastic when it comes to setting passwords and managing them.

We use it for MFA for our 365 users and then we expanded that to SSO for both an in-house app and some of our third-party apps.

Mainly to assist us with identity management and zero trust access for users for identity based, zero access for the users.

Primarily it's an identity provider.

To create New users in Ad and Exchange.Mail ,meetings and login using one password. MFA using same for more securiy add in so unauthorized user can not login without permission of mail or any application owner. access data from any time and any where just required internet connection for same.

Entra ID is our cloud identity provider. We use it as part of the Azure core products, but also as idp for all the cloud applications that we have currently in place. It makes it a lot easier to deploy security measures, due to the possibility to apply conditional access rules, and also it's easy to manage both from the gui and from the console.

I am using Microsoft Entra ID for getting a secure session for the Azure cloud. Previously, the main business problem was to handle the unauthorized access to the cloud and applications. Microsoft Entra ID creates a separate ID to use them. This basically helps us to get secured cloud access or any other on-premises application. This is mainly helping organization to manage Identity and access of employees. The main feature of Microsoft Entra ID is it automatically verifies the credentials of a user and allows us to get a protected work environment. In current project, it is helping us to get secured work environment so that no other user can access to our data.

Using Microsoft Entra ID for creating, Managing users. Also, creating mail ID in the O365 cloud as per license, we will provide a license to use send and receive mail and also block outside domain mail send using rules creation in O365 Exchange. O365 standard and Basic licenses are there to provide users according to there usage. Teams, one drive, SharePoint, and online Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for basic license and application installed for a standard license we are using.

I use Microsoft Entra ID for creating accounts for employees, I use it for activating PIM roles to help employees update their MFA method and 365 help like Mailbox/DL creation. I help employees with bitlocker recovery key using Microsoft Entra ID through the devices feature. I basically am an IT Analyst and it is my daily work which includes usage of Microsoft Entra ID. We also manage the user passwords through this platform.

We use Microsoft Entra ID, previously known as Azure AD, as a bridge between local and cloud AD and for unified user management and single sign-on access to our cloud-based resources, such as Microsoft 365 and Azure, with the added benefit of multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure) is a great product that we utilize for deploying VMs, integrating SSO within applications, managing users, groups, and inboxes, and more. While the online software is not always intuitive for administrators to use (the UI changes frequently) and the name change caused a great amount of confusion, the product is solid, mature, and most of all does the job in all the categories mentioned above.
