Katie Holmes was spotted in Soho yesterday, June 5th, taking a lovely walk in the sunny streets of New York City.

The Dawson's Creek star, who will lead a revival of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town on Broadway this fall, was photographed in two very different yet equally stylish outfits—but we were particularly struck by this pristine white set (above), and the centerpiece of both looks: a luxurious leather bag from Totême. The Totême T-Lock, a trapezoidal piece, is embellished with minimal gold hardware, andwas a perfect complement to both her outfits.

In her first ensemble of the day, Holmes wore a scoop-neck tank and wide-leg, white linen trousers from Banana Republic, which are both flattering and easy to style—a perfect combination for the ongoing heat—and opted for trendy Chanel Mary Janes in black.

Holmes has long been known for her elegant monochromatic looks, sporting a beautiful pale yellow suit in March of 2023 and again a reviving pale yellow top and pant for Cannes last year. One year on, cold neutrals seem to be her preferred color palette, opting for garments in shades of white, gray, blue, and black.

She also kept the bag for her second outfit of the day, which also highlighted her newly launched A.P.C. x Katie Holmes collection:

In the morning, Holmes held the bag first from below and in the afternoon, she carried it by the handle, showing its true versatility.

According to the brand, Holmes went to Paris and handpicked her favorite vintage garments from the A.P.C. archives for the line. "I love vintage and truly enjoyed stepping into the memories of A.P.C. garments of the past," she said. "Bringing the inspiration from collections from the early 2000’s and working to make them modern and relevant to the 2024 customer was such a joyful and satisfying experience."
