Dessert sold at Costco stores in Ontario has been voluntarily recalled.

A dessert sold at Costco stores in Canada has been recalled. 

Sorrisa Group Inc has voluntarily recalled the Brownie Skillet with Vanilla Ice Cream due to the “potential presence of rubber foreign material,” the recall notice posted by Costco Canada on Dec. 20 reads.

Consumption of this product may result in a choking hazard, the recall notice adds.

Brownie Skillet with Vanilla Ice Cream recalled

Sorrisa Group Inc has voluntarily recalled the Brownie Skillet with Vanilla Ice Cream.

Sorrisa Group Inc has received one complaint with the affected product, the recall notice reads.

“If you have the recalled Brownie Skillet with Vanilla Ice Cream in your possession, do not consume it,” the notice says. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask you to please pass this letter along to anyone to whom the Brownie Skillet with Vanilla Ice Cream may have been given.”

The recall notice indicates the product was sold at Ontario Costco locations between Nov. 7 and Dec. 18.
