Warriors: The New Prophecy #5: Twilight

Book 5 is absolutely action packed and doesn't stop till the last page! The start of the book talks of a mysterious death within a clan and will soon walk with StarClan. The four clans finally find their new territories and are still establishing boundries. StarClan is still walking to the new destination and the clans have not yet recieved a sign and are losing faith. RiverClan medicine cat was not ment to be and doesn't believe in their warrior ancestors. A secret meeting is being held with a cat who has passed, but does not walk amongst StarClan teaching blood to be ambitious. Great book highly recommended!

This book, like all in the series, is a real page turner. It is written for a young audience, but is great for adults as well. My 7 year old daughter adores these books. She was a good, but reluctant reader. These books turned her into a voracious reader. She simply can't get enough!

I really enjoyed this book. I think it was a great sequel to the first books in the series. At the end of the book I cried it was so well written. I am eagerly awaiting the next book in the series. There were so many twists and turns that I could not predict that kept me hooked. I read it in one day. It is very well written and I would reccommend it to anyone who loves cats, and likes adventure like stories. I really enjoyed it.

My friend, a huge fan of the Warriors series, is what got me into this wonderful story, and I'm glad she did. What's so great about the Warriors books is that they're so easy to get into, and Twilight is no exception. I found myself turning the pages and being sucked into the story just as fast as I have in any of the other volume in the series. Twilight has many more triumphs than flaws. Its triumphs are that the plot has taken a few twists and turns in this volume, most notably something mentioned vaguely about Brambleclaw and Hawkfrost, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the next to conclude the New Prophecy series. Some new characters have been introduced, and returning characters are as welcome and beloved as always, somehow managing to include all our favorite cats (except for Graystripe). The new relationships between the Clans and the new dangers to the forest pick up the story, carrying it along to its conclusion. However, the book's flaws are undoubtedly in the lost friendship between Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight, as well as the "love" between Crowfeather and Leafpool. While Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight have taken personality turns for the worst, each of them irritable and on such short fuses that you can't help but scream in your head, "When are they gonna make up all ready?!", Crowfeather and Leafpool's relationship left much to be desired. Whether you're a fan of the pairing or not, it's clear that how it ends for them seemed abrupt and pointless compared to their apparent longing for each other throughout the whole book. By the end of the book, I felt like the two of them had never truly loved each other at all, and I was disappointed. Not only this, but some cats - such as Tawnypelt, and Hawkfrost - didn't appear enough, especially when compared to earlier volumes. Despite that, though, Warriors: Twilight is still an entertaining, grand adventure I'm sure many will enjoy. Some of the story's faults didn't even strike me till after the last page had turned, but even if I had felt them throughout the book(which some I did), I still loved every minute I spent with the four Clans. If you love books with meaning, great characters, and about animals....Warriors is for you.

Twilight, the fifth book in the new prophecy series, is mainly a plot filler, tying up lose ends in the previous books all in preperations for the 6th book Sunset. this time we switch to Squirrelflight's point of view with some chapters for Leafpool. the clans are begining to settle into there new homes and life seems to be returning to normal again but trouble faces Firestar's two daughters. as Squirrelflight becomes more distant from Brambleclaw cause of his friendship to the shady Hawkfrost, she must also deal with the fact of Windclans sudden bitterness towards Thunderclan and as for Leafpool she must struggle with her feelings for Crowfeather that may affect her duties as medicine cat. the book starts out slow in the begining but really picks up at the middle mark and goes into hyper drive at the end which ends in a cliffhanger for Sunset. some people will be dissapointed as a beloved character dies but at the end people will realize it is a logical choice. another great read that will have you at the edge of your seat during its climactic showdown get as soon as possible.
