This is a lovely book, filled with exciting, well-coordinated projects -- some of which are quite intricate. If you have young children or grandchildren, this book provides many beautiful projects that would thrill toddlers and school age children. Some of the projects for children are educational. Most of the projects are functional -- not merely display items that are pretty to see but items that fulfill a useful purpose, such as the trio of Watermelon baskets in the Summer section of the book. There are projects in this book that will add interest to your home during the four seasons of the year. The project for Autumn that caught my interest and induced me to buy the book is on the front cover: the Scarecrow for Autumn. You won't regret buying this book, it's filled with lots of nifty projects any plastic canvas addict would adore. As a note: I gave this a four-star rating rather than giving it five stars BECAUSE of the number of children's projects the book. Children's projects are something for which I have no use, otherwise this book would have received five stars in this review.
