Gripping tale - disappointing ending

I really was confused for a portion of this book, it was a little tough to start and keep up with it at the beginning. However; once I got the roll on it, I could not put it down.
Spoiler alert - I found that I was hoping for what was being implied throughout the whole book, to actually happen. The ending was a little rushed for me, I was a little disappointed in the lack of explanation in the plot. But, it was a good read overall.

I have read thousands of books in my life so far- senior aged. WORST book I have ever read.
