     James Lees Norton was born on 8 January 1865 at Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire, Wales.¹ He was the son of Henry Norton and Margaret Evans.¹ He married Blanche Gwendoline Blandy, daughter of Adam Fettiplace Blandy and Elizabeth Mary Nicholl Carne, in 1903 at Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He died on 3 March 1922 at age 57 at Braeside, Radley, Berkshire, England.²

     Henry Leeds was born on 28 August 1827.¹ He was the son of Sir Joseph Edward Leeds, 2nd Bt. and Marian Stretton.² He married, firstly, Anna Dorothea Simpson, daughter of Reverend J. E. H. Simpson, on 25 March 1854.¹ He married, secondly, Adelaide Louisa Davis, daughter of William Davis, on 28 August 1860.¹ He died on 12 February 1892 at age 64.¹
