A cybersecurity company has donated more than £3,000 worth of items to Worthing Hospital.
EvilEye Security Ltd, based in Steyning, gave the donations to Bluefin Ward at Worthing Hospital.
This included £600 worth of Amazon items, as well as games, bean bags, and cushions.
The company also donated a £2,500 Nintendo Switch gaming cart, which includes a 24-inch display, ten pre-loaded games, and three wired controllers.
The donation was made in recognition of the care given to the director's youngest son, who was born a micro preemie and spent time in the Bramber and Bluefin Wards.
The director, Liam O'Reilly, said: "It was a privilege to give back to a place that holds such a special place in our hearts.
"The donation was inspired by my family’s personal connection to the hospital. Worthing Hospital, particularly the Bramber and Bluefin Wards, has provided exceptional care to my youngest son, both during his early months as a micro preemie and more recently."
Liam added that the items were donated to bring "some joy to young patients and their families during the festive season".
Hayley Edwards from the Bluefin Ward said the gifts are already brightening the ward and providing "moments of joy and normalcy for children of all ages."
The company hopes the donation will encourage others to support their local healthcare providers and recognise the "amazing work done by Worthing Hospital."
