Harry & Meghan documentary series teased in Netflix trailer
Royal insiders have branded Meghan Markle's account of how Sarah Ferguson hastily taught her to curtsey for the late Queen as a lie.
The Duchess of Sussex has been called out by Royal commentators after a clip from the TV show Suits resurfaced, showing Meghan curtsying years before meeting her future husband, Prince Harry.

However, the Duchess had claimed in her Netflix docuseries with Harry that she was only given a quick lesson on how to greet the late monarch moments before the encounter.
Meghan recalled on the show: "I mean. it's surreal. There wasn't like some big moment of 'Now you're gonna meet my grandmother'.
"I didn't know I was going to meet her until moments before. We were in the car and we were going to the Royal Lodge for lunch, and he [Harry] was like, 'Oh, my grandmother is here, she's gonna be there after church.'
"I remember we were in the car, driving and he's [Harry] like, 'You know how to curtsy, right? '. And I just thought it was a joke."
Prince Harry shared: "How do you explain that to people? How do you explain that you bow to your grandmother? And that you would need to curtsy, especially to an American. That's weird."
Meghan further added to their on-camera discussion, saying: "Now I'm starting to realize this is a big deal. I mean, Americans will understand this. We have Medieval Times dinner and tournament. It was like that.
"Like, I curtsied as though I was like... 'Pleasure to meet you your Majesty.' It was so intense. And then when she left, Eugenie and Jack and Fergie say 'you did great! '. Thanks. I didn't know what I was doing," she recalled.

Harry also claims in his 2023 memoir Spare that Meghan was guided on how to curtsey by his aunt Sarah.
He recounted that when Meghan was about to meet the Queen, he asked her if she knew how to curtsy, to which the Suits actress responded by saying she "thought so".
Seeking aid from family members, Harry turned to his aunt Sarah Ferguson along with cousin Eugenie and her husband Jack Brookbanks for help.
He noted down: "Fergie came outside, somewhat aflutter, and said: Do you know how to curtsy? Meg shook her head. Fergie demonstrated once. Meg imitated her."
After Harry and Meghan's claims in their Netflix docuseries and Harry's autobiography Spare that this was the first time Meghan learned to curtsey, critics have been quick to point out a scene from Suits where Meghan is seen curtsying, branding it a "lie".
In the clip, that has made the rounds on social media, another added: "a fraud".
With a third savagely adding: "Come on guys! She “forgot” she had curtsied in the show. Just like she “forgot” she dictated the book to Omid."
Harry & Meghan is available to stream on Netflix.
