Biography
Bill Wallace held audiences on the edge of their seats in various heart-pounding, action-packed films during his Hollywood career. Wallace's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the adventure "Courage of Lassie" (1946) with Elizabeth Taylor, the Steve Brodie crime picture "Desperate" (1947) and the Robert Mitchum suspenseful adaptation "Out of the Past" (1947). He also appeared in the action movie "A Force of One" (1979) with Jennifer O'Neill and the action picture "Beverly Hills Cop" (1984) with Eddie Murphy. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in "The Protector" (1985) with Jackie Chan, the Chuck Wagner action film "America 3000" (1986) and the Michael Dudikoff action flick "Avenging Force" (1986). He also appeared in "The Delta Force" (1986) with Chuck Norris and "Born on the Fourth of July" (1989) with Tom Cruise. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Danger Down Under" (NBC, 1987-88). Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in the Shelley Long comedic adventure "Troop Beverly Hills" (1989), the action picture "Cover Story" (1994) with Tuesday Knight and the action movie "Solo" (1996) with Mario Van Peebles. He also was featured in the TV movie "Apollo 11" (Family Channel Studios, 1996-97). Most recently, Wallace acted on "CSI: New York" (CBS, 2004-2013).
