His Grand Slam achievements include reaching the final of the 2024 French Open and the 2020 US Open and the semifinals of the French Open in (2021, 2022, and 2023) and the Australian Open in (2020 and 2024). Zverev lost to Dominic Thiem in the final of the 2020 US Open. He emerged as the winner at the 2018 and 2021 ATP Finals.

Zverev defeated Novak Djokovic in the final of the 2017 Italian Open and became the youngest tennis player to win the Masters 1000 title. In late 2024, Zverev also won the Paris Masters by beating Ugo Humbert in the final. In 2025, Zverev advanced to his first Australian Open final after Novak Djokovic retired from the tournament due to a torn muscle. He will face Jannik Sinner. Zverev faced a defeat against Jannik Sinner in the final by 6-3, 7-6, 6-3. He won a prize of A$1.9 million for finishing as a runner-up in the tournament.
