“Pretty good show” - Fans all hyped up on the electrifying action from a heart-pounding ONE Fight Night 27 card in Bangkok

ONE Championship's first live Amazon Prime show for the new year -- ONE Fight Night 27 -- was successfully held on Jan. 10 in Bangkok, Thailand, and was well received by fans for the electrifying action it delivered on fight night.

It included undefeated Kyrgyzstani fighter Akbar Abdullaev underscoring his emerging force status in the MMA featherweight lane, Denice Zamboanga of the Philippines finally earning the MMA world title she had long sought, and Thai Kulabdam Sor Jot Piek Uthai and Brazilian John Lineker in an explosive Muay Thai back-and-forth showdown that had the crowd at Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium rocking.

Denice Zamboanga wins $50,000 performance bonus at ONE Fight Night 27

Apart from winning the interim atomweight MMA belt, Denice Zamboanga also earned a $50,000 performance bonus from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong for her second-round TKO of Alyona Rassohyna in their title clash at ONE Fight Night 27 on Jan. 10.

'The Menace' displayed a solid all-around game that Rassohyna had a hard time keeping in step with, culminating in a ferocious ground-and-pound in the closing seconds of the second round.

Also winning a bonus was American Luke Lessei who dismantled Canadian Cody Jerome with body blows on his way to an opening-round TKO (three knockdowns) win.
