Phil Mickelson's manager Peter Davis has been appointed General Manager of LIV Golf's HyFlyers. The Saudi League has implemented several changes for the upcoming season. From hiring new GMs to reportedly looking for a CEO of the series, they have been constantly working to implement new things in the series for its development.
Recently, Peter Davis joined LIV Golf as a General Manager of Mickelson's HyFlyers GC. Davis shared a heartfelt message on his LinkedIn account, expressing his excitement for the new role. He wrote:
"I am thrilled to announce that I have joined LIV Golf as General Manager of HyFlyers GC. Having worked closely with the team since the league’s inception, I am proud of the work that has gotten the team to where it is today. I am excited to step into this new position and drive growth for the team in the future."
Peter Davis has also expressed his gratitude for his work at Sportfive, where he worked for nine years and three months. He added:
"I’d like to extend a huge thank you to my colleagues, mentors, and friends at SPORTFIVE — the past nine years have been an amazing chapter in my career. I am incredibly grateful for all the experiences and relationships I’ve built along the way."
Notably, Phil Mickelson is the captain of the HyFlyers. However, the team struggled with their game in the last two seasons. They finished ninth in season two of LIV Golf, while this year they concluded the season in 12th place in the standings.
