The Oregon Ducks may be the top-seeded team in the College Football Playoff competing for a national championship, but they are also seeing some players pop up in the NCAA Transfer Portal. However, it is unclear whether these players are leaving the program now or will after the Ducks' season is concluded.
Let's take a closer look at the players in the transfer portal and discuss what we know thus far.
Oregon Ducks in the NCAA Transfer Portal
Jaxson Jones, LB
The freshman linebacker has not figured out how to get on the field this season for the Oregon Ducks and has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. He already found a new home as he has committed to the Utah Utes.
Jac'Qawn McRoy, OT
Freshman offensive tackle Jac'Qawn McRoy is another player who has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal after one season and has already found a new school for the 2025 college football season. McRoy has transferred to the Arkansas Razorbacks program, and the offensive tackle looks to get more playing time with the Razorbacks going forward.
Tyler Turner, S
Redshirt freshman Tyler Turner is also entering the NCAA Transfer Portal and has not performed too well throughout his collegiate career thus far. He is considered a three-star transfer prospect and it is unclear if he is staying with the Ducks through the College Football Playoff. Turner appeared in five games this season and could continue to make himself known on a larger stage if he plays and performs well.
Emar'rion Winston, LB
Redshirt sophomore Emar'rion Winston entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on Dec. 13 and is a three-star prospect, according to On3. He has been playing a bit this season and returned to the field after a month in the regular season finale. However, he has eight total tackles and a pass deflection this year. Winston has not declared which school he will join as a transfer as of this writing.
Khamari Terrell, CB
Junior defensive back Khamari Terrell has not seen much of the field throughout his three seasons with the Oregon Ducks and has decided to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal. Throughout his collegiate career, he has 14 total tackles and a pass deflection. He has been primarily used as a special teams player with the Ducks and is searching for a new opportunity.
Jaeden Moore, LB
Freshman linebacker Jaeden Moore is the most recent Oregon Duck to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal at the time of writing. He has played two seasons with the program and has eight tackles, 0.5 sacks and two pass deflections throughout his collegiate career. Moore entered the portal on Dec. 16 and has not committed to a team yet.
