Q6 Weather

KHQ forecaster headshot

After an eventful start to the new year, the forecast turns quiet and cold with a ridge building in over the region in the days to come. Mornings will feel very cold with low temperatures in the 20s. High temperatures will reach the mid-30s on Monday but will struggle to get above freezing Tuesday and Wednesday. Fog will be a theme of the week. With the freezing low temperatures, black ice development is possible each morning ahead due to freezing fog. The next band of showers looks poised to arrive on Friday with chances of low-elevation snow or a wintry mix.
