STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Four jackpot-winning TAKE 5 tickets were recently sold in New York City, according to state lottery officials.
The New York Lottery announced that multiple top prize-winning tickets were sold for the midday and evening TAKE 5 drawings on Monday, July 1.
There were three top prizes — all worth $6,149 — sold for the midday drawing. One winning ticket was sold at Twenty City Deli & Grocery, located at 1060 Sherman Ave., in the Bronx. Two winning tickets were sold at Hermanos Deli and Grocery, located at 3142 Fulton St., in Brooklyn.
A jackpot prize ticket was also sold for the evening drawing. This prize, worth $34,333, was sold at 965 Castillo Meat & Produce, located at 965 E 172nd St., in the Bronx.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. To win the TAKE 5 jackpot, match the five numbers on your ticket to the winning five-number combination drawn. It costs $1 per game to play.
The drawing is broadcast on television twice daily at 2:30 and 10:30 p.m. TAKE 5 players with midday and evening draws on the same ticket must check their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov to determine if they have the winning numbers for the corresponding midday or evening drawing.
