HESPERIA — Hesperia’s football team suffered a 35-7 setback to Ravenna last Friday night in a West Michigan Conference Rivers Division game at home.

The Panthers (1-5, 0-3 WMC Rivers) were limited on offense by the Bulldogs (3-3, 3-1 WMC Rivers). Quarterback Brocke Bolles was 6-for-12 passing for 27 yards and an interception and he carried the ball 11 times for 69 yards. Skylar Stalbaum added 96 yards on 13 carries. Ian Fox was Bolles’ top receiver with two catches for 18 yards.

Stalbaum led the defense with 16 tackles. Thor Klaus and Michael Feckon each had seven tackles. Fisher Spencer had six tackles.

The Panthers host Mason County Central in the second game of a three-game home stretch before finishing the season on the road in Holton. The Spartans lost to Hart last week, 30-8.
