Changelog

  • Functions

    Changed

Serverless Functions default sandbox set to v2

To reduce cold-starts, we recently added a new version of our sandbox: v2.

This is now the default sandbox version for new Functions on the console, as it offers enhanced performance.

  • Functions

    Deprecated

    Deprecation of the serverless_functions_requests_total metric

Following the introduction of the serverless_functions_requests_per_second metric, we are deprecating the serverless_functions_requests_total metric for use in custom dashboards and alerts. We recommend that you update your custom dashboards and alerts to use the new serverless_functions_requests_per_second metric instead. The removal will be effective on September 19, 2024.

  • Functions

    Added

Reduce cold starts with sandbox V2

You can now select the Sandbox V2 option offering shorter cold starts for your Functions. We recommend using it for resources with more than 0.5 vCPU.
