General Meeting - May 2018

The RIPE NCC General Meeting (GM) took place from 16-23 May 2018 in the Palais du Pharo in Marseille, adjacent to the RIPE 76 Meeting.

The GM began with the presentation of the reports from the RIPE NCC in the RIPE NCC Services Working Group session at 16:00 local time. The formal, members-only section of the GM started immediately after the RIPE NCC Services Working Group session.

The results of the Executive Board election and the voting on resolutions were announced via the Webstream at 10:45 UTC+2 on Wednesday, 23 May 2018. Details on this extension are available in the email from the Chairman of the Executive Board.

RIPE NCC Executive Board Election

There was an election to fill two seats on the RIPE NCC Executive Board. The following two candidates were elected to the Executive Board:

• Falk von Bornstaedt
• Piotr Strzyżewski

Resolutions

The following resolutions were approved by the membership:

• “The General Meeting adopts the RIPE NCC Financial Report 2017.”
• "The General Meeting discharges the Executive Board with regard to its actions as they appear from the Annual Report 2017."
• "The General Meeting adopts the RIPE NCC Charging Scheme 2019."
• "The General Meeting approves the addition of Timothy Mahoney to the RIPE NCC Arbiters Panel."
• "The General Meeting approves the addition of Thomas Okalla to the RIPE NCC Arbiters Panel."
• "The General Meeting approves the addition of Miquel Illa Oliveras to the RIPE NCC Arbiters Panel."
• "The General Meeting approves the addition of Payam Poursaied to the RIPE NCC Arbiters Panel."
• "The General Meeting approves the addition of Sander Steffann to the RIPE NCC Arbiters Panel."
• "The General Meeting approves the dismissal of Nick Williams from the RIPE NCC Arbiters Panel."
