Töma Gavrichenkov

Töma has been an active participant of several ICANN and RIPE NCC activities in Eastern Europe. Throughout last 3 years he represented his company in the appropriate ICANN constituency and was serving as the Vice-Chair and then Chair of the Eurasian Network Operators Group, a RIPE NCC Regional Meeting, demonstrating his willingness to invest time into the work necessary for the Internet community.

As the former CTO of an European Internet connectivity provider, he was responsible for the allocation and management of IP addresses for multiple LIRs and understands the policy making process well.

I suggest Töma as a candidate for the role within the NRO Number Council and believe he would be an asset to the RIPE community.

Töma has proven his skills and his support for several internet communities - also for the RIPE community in which I had the pleasure to get to know Töma. He does play a very active role and helps moving things forward. He has a profound knowledge and excellent understanding of underlying technologies and the community processes and I am convinced he will do excellent work.

I would like to offer my support for Salam Yamout's membership of the NRO NC. I have worked with Salam on the Code of Conduct Task Force and have come to appreciate her insight and clear communication.

I am confident that Salam would excel in performing the NRO NC's role in Global Policy Development, should a new proposal arise. Perhaps more importantly, I am confident that Salam would significantly enhance the process to select the two ICANN board members selected by the NRO.
