元物理学者の「消える彫刻」が生み出す、心で見る量子物理学の世界
正面から見ると人の姿。しかし、横から見ると像が消える──。ポートランドを拠点に活動するジュリアン・ヴォス＝アンドレは、鑑賞者の視点によって見え方が変わる彫刻で有名なアーティストだ。その作品は「消える彫刻」としてたびたび話題になっている。そんな唯一無二の作品をつくる彼の創作の原点は、めくるめく量子物理学の世界にあった。
