Before surgery you will be instructed to use this or possibly another similar brand. This was the one I used both before and after. Has that sanitary hospital sent but I did not have any infections so trust it works. Hibiclens Antimicrobial, Antiseptic Soap and Skin Cleanser 8oz for Home Hospital 4% CHG

With all the swelling that takes place I was advised to wear these boards, the back board I wore for the first few weeks then move to using a front stomach board. After surgery this was much needed. In fact I almost fainted one day while in shower, had I not had this to sit I may have went down. Get one and use it, dont be ashamed to sit in the shower or tub to let the water run down you after surgery. This one was the perfect size.
