I used Retique It Light Wood Color Liquid Wood and Varathane Kona Stain (oil based) for this transformation!! Steps below ⬇️ - Clean all surfaces to be covered with liquid wood. No sanding needed. Remove drawers and cabinets as well as hardware. Tape off walls and floors. - Apply liquid wood to all surfaces with a foam brush in long even strokes. I used Retique It Light Wood Color. Paint two coats. Wait two hours in between coats. - Apply stain of choice. Allow it to sit on the surface for about two minutes before wiping it off with long even strokes. I did one coat of Varathane Kona Stain Oil Base. - After 48 hours of Varathane Kona Stain, Wood Color Paint, Retique It Liquid Wood, Neutral Modern Home, Kona Stain, Retique It, Liquid Wood, Sanding Tips, Painted Vanity Bathroom

This is my second time using the “Retique It Liquid Wood” product to give a veneer table a lighter wood finish. This stuff is great for adding a layer of real word on any hard surface that is stainable.
