Medicine Bow National Forest is outside of Laramie, Wyoming. The Traveling Tacos decides to visit one weekend in July to do a solo backpacking trip with her dog. We arrived at Lake Marie on Friday afternoon and hiked up The Lakes Trail, before setting up camp on the banks of Lookout Lake. This was my first ever successful backpacking trip by myself and I was so happy to have picked such a beautiful place to adventure in! I fly fished all day before hiking up Medicine Bow Peak.
